This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 24th day of April, 1935, in accordance with request made by the daughter - Mrs. […], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Esther Wynne and L. B. Cayce.]

Time of Reading 11:35 to 11:40 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, New York. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body; this we have had before.

  2. As we find, there have been intermittent responses to the ministrations [GD’s note: Old dictionary lists the word “ministration” as “act of service, administering,” etc.] that have been suggested for the improvements of this body. Where these have been followed closely, better results have come; yet when there were those reactions, the natural fears, the natural anxieties have made for a reverting to other applications. These have APPARENTLY at times relieved, but the natural responses have been only as palliatives.

  3. In the present as we would find, if we would follow rather closely for a period of two to three weeks those suggestions that have been indicated, we would find the better responses, the better reactions for the body.

  4. While the weaknesses continue, while at times there are some hopeful and helpful responses, the DETERMINATIONS IN the body should be aroused and NOT SUBDUED or not made negative! There should be more positiveness in the attitudes of all ABOUT the body! These will make for much better responses than negative forces.

  5. Do that.

  6. Ready for questions.

  7. We are through with this reading.
