This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at 1851 Columbia Road, Washington, D.C., this 8th day of April, 1935, in accordance with request made by Mrs. [883]”s sister, new Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Milwaukee, Time of Reading Wisconsin, (moved 3:30 to 3:40 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. about a week ago to Dr. Dorn’s Hosp.) [Cancer hospital] (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [883].

2. Now, as we find, the conditions show some improvements in the general application of those things that have made the responses to the applications - while only one so far, it is healing very nicely.

3. We would not change in any sense those applications being made, but we would use with same the Animated Ash - that will relieve, or allow for the releasing in the tissue where segmentations show the destruction of tissue. This would make for healing that is not being accomplished through the applications that are made. Only in that direction would we make changes.

4. For, if these are allowed to eat further into the tissue - while they may heal, the tissue still remains involved. However, the Animated Ash released in the system will bring healing and the releasing of oxygen to the tissue itself; one-eighth grain of the Animated Carbon Ash administered each day, preferably in the evenings.

5. As we find, if there is response until two or three such applications may be made, then there will be the opportunity for the resuscitating forces to be revivified as to eliminate much of the drosses that have bedregged the system in the present.

6. Ready for questions.

7. (Q) Is it possible to get fluid food through the intestines at all now? (A) Some is passing. If there is the application of the Ash for the fluid forces in the circulation, there may be made greater improvements in same. Give the Ash internally, to be sure - loose in powder form, NOT in capsule, preferably through the mouth.

8. (Q) What do you mean by the fluids in the circulation? (A) The lymph circulation.

9. (Q) Did the X-Ray pictures show the areas involved, correctly? (A) Showed the areas involved correctly; those from the caecum to the second fold in the jejunum.

10. (Q) What would you advise as the best food stimulant for the body, and how should it be given? (A) It’s necessary that this be given as injections in the present, you see; and only such as will NOT produce irritations to the fluids in the lymph circulation - which only sets up counter-irritations, you see. This is being supplied very good in the present.

Then, as given, the only change we would add would be the Ash which is healing in itself to tissue that has been attacked by the bacilli that is indicated here; and will allow the applications to be the more helpful.

11. (Q) If the body responds - (A) (Interrupting) As indicated, you’ll know by the third treatment if there is response - that’s within the next nine days.

12. (Q) Is the growth malignant or tumorous? (A) Tumorous, but malignant in its nature.

Do this, as we find for this body, [883], in the present.

13. We are through for the present.

R1. 4/24/35 Sister’s letter to EC: “I promised to let you know and am sorry to inform you that my sister [883] for whom you so kindly gave a reading in Washington on April 8th, passed away on the 10th.

“I shall miss her much, she was most unselfish always and I hope now for her peace and happiness in other realms.

“The Doctor, who was by the way much interested said he wished he might have had that information, some weeks earlier but that is always the way with us humans, we are mostly too late.

“I sent your papers to my sister, [5/6/35 The other sister of Miss [883] obtained a Physical Rdg. for Miss [917].] in New York, Yonkers, I mean and I believe she is writing you about a reading for a friend who is ill. I hope a little seed, will be planted there for the Assoc. and also hope to send you the correct address of the Doctor, who attended my sister so that you may send him some of the papers which I have been receiving. I have passed mine on to others.

“I enclose check for my membership and hope to be able to interest others.
