This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at 1851 Columbia Road, Washington, D.C., this 11th day of April, 1935, in accordance with request made by the self - Miss [887], new Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc., recommended by Mr. [257].

1. HLC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [887] …, New York City, who has just had an offer to go to Europe. You will advise whether or not she should accept this offer, or remain with the proposition she has at the present time.

2. EC: Yes, we have the enquiring mind, [887].

3. In considering the proposition, many varied phases of such a a change should be considered very carefully. At this particular period in the experience of the associations of the body, it is not favorable for all concerned - either as to the trip or to the circumstances or surroundings that would naturally ensue from such a decided change in the immediate.

4. And, again, the exchanges - not only from the physical surroundings but the material conditions and circumstances that would arise - are not the most favorable for any as concerned.

5. Then, as we would find, it would be much more preferable at this time that such a trip, or such a connection, be delayed or deferred until circumstances - or all of the astrological, as well as numerological, and the other signs or conditions - are in a much more favorable aspect.

6. As we would find, then, it would be much preferable NOT to accept at the present time.

8. (Q) What other suggestions or advice may be given at this time? (A) Much might be given as respecting many conditions that make for influences that are not altogether as in best response to some circumstances that surround the group; yet these do not enter in for this particular contemplated trip. For in this wise, these might make for a pulling together rather than the dissensions; but these do not enter in for this particular trip.
