R1. 10/14/24 Miss [9]‘s typed letter, even the signature being typed: “Words cannot express my appreciation of your visit to my home with your friends. I can never thank you enough for taking a reading for me while I was present and convincing me so strongly of your work. No doubt, you could see by my manner how happy your presence made me. As I witnessed your reading a heavy load was lifted from my mind. Never in my life did I have such an enjoyable evening. My only regrets were that the evening passed so very swiftly.

“My trust in God is greater now, than ever. As I talked with your friends and listened to the reading the truth of your work dawned on my mind very clearly. My belief in God can never be shaken for helping me to understand your work in every way. My mental vision God made as clear as crystal. With all my afflictions I have much to thank God for. I am sorry that I cannot see you now and again, so that we could discuss mind. I would consider it a great privilege to hear your opinions on this subject. I am, however, very glad that I had the opportunity of meeting you. I wonder if our meeting was, really, due to my concentration of mind. I am interested in the clubs that are being started to carry on your work about which Mr. Blumenthal spoke to me. Please write me if you would care to have one of your clubs in Paterson.”

R2. 10/22/24 EC’s letter: “Have yours of the 14th and was indeed very glad to hear from you and to know that you really felt that the few minutes visit I had with you in Paterson were worth while. The enthusiasm, or over-love to talk, whichever it may be called, of Mr. Kahn and Mr. Blumenthal both was such that I did not have an opportunity to talk with you very much, nor half express to you the real interest that I feel in trying to be of assistance to you. Not only for the love and friendship that I have for [8] but seeing you, and realizing what a wonderful fight you have put up against seemingly insurmountable difficulties, I desire to be of help if possible. Not, please understand, because I claim some power within myself, for KNOW I do not lay claim to any such power or force, merely the experience of hundreds of people who claim they have received untold benefits through these readings, when the suggestions as given are carried out fully, wholly, and entirely. I’m in hopes that your hearing the reading will really make it the more possible for you to make personal application of the good that may be acquired through the readings.

“Now, I would certainly insist that the osteopath carry out these suggestions as were given. If he will not, I’m sure there are two at least in New York that WILL carry them out.”
