This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce in Hopkinsville, Ky., this 7th day of September, 1925, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [900].

1. EC: Yes, we have the entity with the dreams as have come to the entity. These as we see are many varied conditions, of the development of the entity into the understanding of spiritual forces as are manifest in the physical world, through the phenomena of life to the human mind and with the comprehension of the body-mind of phenomenized conditions may be used in that manner as same may bring the development of the entity in a closer relation to its fellow man and the service the entity may be able to give to his brethren. Ready for dreams, for [they are] of varied interpretations and lessons.

2. (Q) Friday, Sept. 4th at home in Deal. Slowly and distinctly the following words: “So R Ry 4% notes at 99 or 100.” (A) This as we see is the mental of the body-mind correlating the conditions in physical with that as is viewed, in and through subconscious forces of the body, giving the spiritual force of the Universal forces as applied to that particular stock, for as is seen, these different members of So Ry stocks will be advancing when many another road or stock will be on the decline.

3. (Q) Does this mean that the So Ry general 4% bonds now selling at about 78 should be bought because they will advance in price to 99 or 100? (A) They will advance to 99 or 100. There will be in the general slump some falling off from their first advances, but the general condition we see will carry these with many other issues to high points.

4. (Q) Does this indicate these bonds should be purchased now at the present price? (A) This gives the condition, the action should be from the individual interpretation of same as to whether to buy or not. The advance will come, see? [See 900-123 on 9/9/25 expanding on Par. 4-A.]

5. (Q) Saw Horace Block of the firm Block, Maloney & Co. He said to me, “You know what ought to go up today? Those Great Northern or Northern Pacific, 4 or 5% Bonds.” “You mean those Great Northern, 4 or 5% Bonds, around 55?” I said. “Yes,” he confirmed. (A) This the entity’s inductive reasoning through subconscious forces of the whole oneness of the spiritual force as is manifest in the force of the body-mind reasoning of this entity, and the lesson should be the entity should know through such lessons that others gain knowledge through action of this entity. Hence the care, the thought, the true, the pure intent of entity must be kept in the One way. Not laying self open for the others who would give the wrong impression or interpretation of the opportunity to gain control over self, for the entity should remember, the Path is straight and few there be that find it.

6. (Q) Are any particular bonds indicated here? No Great Northern or Pacific Bonds are selling around the price of 55. (A) Rather that as given, see?

7. (Q) I saw a man (may have been Edgar Cayce) with a panama hat on. I said to him, “Now you may wear it turned down all the way around.” He turned it down and wore it that way. (A) This the emblematical condition presenting the conditions of the relation as exists between the entity and body, physical, [Edgar Cayce] seen. Hat then the representation of active conditions as exist with an individual and as seen the actions of the individual wearing same subject to the call or intent of the other individual. The lesson then, not of the telepathic relations, but of the emblematical condition as was given to Him when was said, “Behold the woman.”
