This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 6th day of June, 1927, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [900].

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mr. and Mrs. David E. Kahn.]

Time of Reading 5:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.

  1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [900], of … St., New York City, and the dreams this body had on the dates which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from each of these, as I read them to you, and you will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding same.

  2. EC: We have the body, the enquiring mind, [900]. The dreams, as we find, come through those channels as have been outlined for the body, and should be used in that way and manner as has been designated for this entity. Ready for dreams.

  3. (Q) Morning of June 4, 1927. Interviewer: “The conditions will last for one year and a half.” My reply: “I don’t find the conditions.” Interviewer: “No, you don’t see them now, but you will find them.” (A) In this we find the body consciousness of the entity dealing with those physical conditions respecting the development of the idea, and ideals, of the entity as respecting the phenomena that is being studied by the entity, and the conditions referred to, that for the year and the six months there will remain that condition as respecting whether there will be sufficient of the funds to carry on, and to develop, that as is desired for the more perfect study; yet, as seen, this as the answer, then, to that of the body conscious mind, and of the mental forces, answering in same - through that of the experiences as given in the subconscious force of the entity - that by the end of that period great will be the inflow from the many sources, as has been given. Not that there will not have been seen much of the development, and of those conditions necessary for the furtherance of same, but in great numbers, great quantities, shall be the means to carry on. [GD’s note: This was true. Early in 1929, with the Cayce Hospital open, greater funds began to flow from many sources. The year 1929 was the most prosperous for the EC work.]

  4. (Q) Of recent date. Interviewer: “General Motors and General Cigar.” My reply: A feeling of fear of market. Interviewer: “But there will be a rise in the motors.” (A) This - as indicated through that inward feeling of the entity as expressed, and as has been given - only such as is ascertained by self should be acted upon, for while there will be SOMETHING of the rise, yet this unstableness is such that there will be much troubles to many who would dabble with such during these periods of unrest.

  5. (Q) Motor stocks and tobacco stocks going up from present selling prices? (A) Be some rises, yet those constant changes or flurries as occur from day to day which make same unsatisfactory - unless one desires to tempt self and take a flier in same, trusting to be able to counteract through that taken hold of - to save self. WE would not advise same.

  6. (Q) Should general motors be now purchased? (A) Same conditions as exist, for there are some undermining conditions that are coming in this special stock. Beware - lest one be caught with much on hand.

  7. (Q) We followed this out and bought general cigar stock at 62 1/2. Well to keep it? (A) WE would not.

  8. That is all the questions on this reading.

  9. We are through with this reading.
