This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 19th day of December, 1927, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [900].

[Edgar Cayce; Mrs. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mr. L. B. Cayce.]

Time of Reading 10:10 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.

  1. GC: You will answer the questions regarding this body that I will ask you.

  2. EC: We have the body, the enquiring mind, [900]. This we have had before.

  3. The physical forces of the body show some conditions that are improvements from that as we have had here before; yet there is that tenseness, that overtaxation to the body, which shows that it would be WELL that the body rest, mentally, physically - get away from those conditions, and that the reaction would be well - else destructive forces may enter in through physical weaknesses that bring detrimental conditions to the mental, the physical and the spiritual development. Ready for questions.

  4. (Q) With reference to vacation plans, will [900] be able to carry out his plans to spend about six weeks away, beginning with last week in January in Virginia Beach, first week in February in Birmingham? Should he do this? (A) Be well for the body, as given, to be away, and rest mentally and physically. To change one’s mental surroundings and mental attitude IS rest, mentally and physically. To rest physically without change of surroundings, or vibration from surroundings, is to torture the mental body and not rest the physical body. This should be brought about. While it will entail some hardships with conditions as are surrounding themselves, but well for the body, mentally and physically, that this be done.

  5. (Q) What kind of weather may we prepare for during our vacation and study week at Virginia Beach? (A) Very good - though there will be in the latter portions some very blustery weather.

  6. We are through with this reading.
