This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 9th day of April, 1928, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [900].

GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for the relief and improvement of same.

EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [900] - this we have had before.

Now, the physical conditions have become accentuated through re-infection from the system itself, through lack of proper eliminations from the body.

We would, when the body retires for rest this evening - or afternoon - and do that as early as possible - first take an enema, see? about a quart to two quarts of lukewarm water, adding to same at least two ounces of Glyco-Thymoline, and cleanse the colon thoroughly, see? Then, when ready to retire (not before, because the body must keep well covered up while this is acting through the system), take five grains Asaphoetida, in pellets - ten grains Aspirin - about two gills of good whiskey (but keep covered up while this is sweating through, see?). Then in the morning, before eating, take a small bottle of Pluto - or two teaspoonsful Epsom Salts and half teaspoonful plain soda stirred together in hot water, then add sufficient cold to make a large tumbler full - OR a small bottle of Pluto. We will find the system near normal in two days. Take sufficient nourishment to keep the body fit. Do not overtax the body mentally or physical for at least two or three days. Do that. We are through.
