This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 29th day of July, 1928, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [900].

Time of Reading 7:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Deal, N.J. (Dream Suggestion)

1. EC: We have the body, the enquiring mind, [900] - this we have had before. The visions, the dreams, the impressions, as are gained to the consciousness of the body, come through those channels and in the ways and manners as have been outlined for the body, and should be applied in the physical consciousness of the body in the ways that have been designated or outlined for the usage of the body. Ready for dream.

2. (Q) This afternoon. He said to me, “I feel there will be a drop.” (A) This, as is indicated, well that the body consciousness be put on guard as concerning conditions with those holdings of the body in the next two to three days, and as will be presented in the consciousness before the opening session, so act in respect same. This the activity that the body should follow; for, as indicated, there will be in the conditions - as were given in numbers - the weakness, then the strength and the weakness, then that as of double strength with a weakness - strong - culminating in nine’s, as given. Hence, as seen in those numerical conditions and the numbers as were given, correct in the proper interpretation of those meanings as may be derived from the study of same, as has been outlined to and for the body from time to time. Applying them in this manner these may be gained the introspection of conditions as are to arise.

3. (Q) Last night. “U.S. Steel at 35.” Does this mean its going down? If not, just what does it mean? (A) This, as indicated from the numerical numbers as were seen concerning same, the body put on guard as to changes as to occur in the activity of this special stock. Acting very much as a criterion for many; yet, as is known to the entity or body consciousness, this NOT the criterion of stocks this present year. Hence there is seen that the indications are that this being in the form of DOWN is to be considered and contemplated by the body and the activities on same, as to the selling or buying, are to be governed by the directions given to self concerning same. Act, then, in the manner as will be indicated to the body before the opening of the next session.

4. (Q) “Now you begin to see,” he said to me. “First interest one of your Board of Directors.” (A) This, as is indicated, as has been studied and as has been gained consciousness of by the body, that there is to be gained the same conscious knowledge of the purport, purpose, intent, with the scope of activity in same, by those that are directly interested, responsible to a waiting public for the policies, formations, conditions, that taught, that distributed, that meted out, that access given through the channels of those that would give to a waiting world knowledge of such a nature that individuals may apply some concrete facts in their lives of that they themselves gain through the same channels, and - as the body would interest, even as has been given, an individual (first TO the individual, then groups, THEN masses, and classes) - then seek out those first, and gain for self that which may be gained through THEIR inception of that being demonstrated, and assist those TO the knowledge of that gained by self in this same direction. This, as indicated to the entity, referring to the messages, to the distributing of truths through the channel of the institution. Just as is seen in the vision where the self reasoning with one to be in charge of the dissemination of truths, principles, laws, and physical application to the physical being in and through the institution, and as indicated from the position held by self from the platform, and reading from the book, indicating - as has been given - even through him on Patmos John in the the Book of Revelation] - that that written in books may be sweet to the mouth but bitter in the belly; while that disseminated through the actual application of same truths in the lives, hearts and actions of individuals, may become living truths known and read of all men, springing up as wells of living water in the way that brings a more perfect understanding to all. Then, as indicated, these two channels are that first to cooperative force that must be in an at-oneness with the principles as have been gained by self. We are through.
