This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 17th day of March, 1925, in accordance with request made by self - [900].

1. GC: You will have before you the body of [900] and the dreams this body had, as follows: The first dream early Saturday Morning, March 14, 1925, as follows: Words spoken to him: “Girls have different sort of brain power. Now this one” - awakened. 1. What girl meant? 2. What different brain powers have girls? 3. How APPLY in my case? The second dream early Sunday Morning, March 15, 1925, as follows: It seemed I was married to an old girl friend of mine here in N.Y., Helen Rosenfeld by name. The ceremony was over and I saw others watching us. It was evening on streets of N.Y. Then we were in the country, presumably on honeymoon. It seemed to be seashore, and I disliked the stuffy hotel room which seemed to have a poor appearance and be altogether undesirable. We left for Jackson, N.H. Two men in same hotel with us watched us and I seemed to thoroughly dislike them. They seemed to be what I didn’t want to be, yet what I might have once have been, or could, if I would, yet be. Then we were on the train coming home, and [137] and [140] were with us. I said in answer to [140], “She got mostly money for presents.” I interceded in my mind or made up my mind to myself to invest the money carefully and take the interest therefrom. [140] said: “Why don’t you buy some stock with it - you know what to buy.” That seemed to upset my plans and I said in reply, “Yes, I could do that - maybe it’s a good idea.” [140] said to [137]: “Don’t you know a good stock?” and I put in, “oh, I don’t want that commission house stuff,” and then I was sorry for it seemed to reflect on [137], for [140] turned in a way half angry to [137] and said: “Do you play commission house stuff?” [137] avoided the question and I wanted to be left alone to my own judgement to act for myself without receiving advice or offering explanations. Then we all arrived in the station and got off and it then seemed we arrived on a ferry boat from our summer home in Deal, where we all really do plan to spend summer together. You will give the interpretations of those dreams, and the lessons to be gained from them, telling what event or condition surrounding event or events to come this summer in the last dream, predicting for me, or what it is warning him of.

2. EC: Now we find in the first that pertaining to the mind of girls being not a dream. Rather the impression of flashes as received by the body in consciousness when just bordering on that of the wholly unconscious conditions, and is merely flashes of the subconscious forces correlating with thought and study of the mental forces, and are to be used as a basis for thought and study of the individual self, and to gain the knowledge of how and in what manner these do vary from that of men, and are to be interpreted by self.

3. In the second we find a co-relation of existent conditions and those to be experienced in the body, mind and individual self of [900]. This, as we see, being a dream, and the wholly reaction in the subconscious forces, and is emblematical of that existent in self of the timidity of expression and the lack of the correct study of self before expressing self to others. Relating rather, as seen here, to all conditions in life, whether pertaining to that of the closer relations in business, in social, or of whatever nature may be considered. Hence this is to be taken then in the manner in which the body may use same to bring self to the better understanding of self. Think twice before speaking of any condition. The body finds self under strain at the present time, pertaining to many different conditions and ways. Before answering then in any, as is shown here, be sure of the position the body takes in every condition presented to self.
