R1. 4/11/09 [918]‘s letter to EC:
Artesia, New Mexico
Mr. Edgar Cayce, Hopkinsville, Ky.
Dear Mr. Cayce:
Yours of the 4th just received. I am glad you are thinking of taking up the work of diagnosing. I have often thought you might do so much good in that way. I was certainly very much benefitted by your reading on my case, after all other physicians had given me up. The treatment given, according to your diagnosis, was the means of restoring me to health.
Wishing you much success, I am,
Sincerely your friend, [918]
R2. GD’s note: Mrs. [918] was the sister, I think, of a lady with whom EC and GC roomed in Bowling Green, Ky., shortly after their marriage in the early 1900’s.
R3. 2/15/11 She obtained a physical reading for her little son, [198].
