This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 17th day of May, 1935, in accordance with request made by Mr. [437], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

1. EC: Some little better at present.

2. We have the body here, [925].

3. As we find, the conditions are the after effects of injections as preventatives, that did not assimilate with the circulation; bringing about this change in the elasticity of the muscular reactions along the arterial circulation. It is not a heart disorder; rather an affectation to the veins and arteries as to make for their contraction and adherence, thus causing the overactivity of the heart.

4. The injections of the Adenine Sulphate, in those proportions necessary, three times a day, would be the better activities for the body in the present.

5. Only use a transfusion as a last resort. But the Adenine Sulphate injections in the veins would make such a transfusion (if it becomes necessary) more active or more acceptable to the system, and less endangering the blockage of the heart’s activity.

8. (Q) Will injections of Pentnucleotide intramuscularly four times a day be beneficial? (A) As we find, the Adenine Sulphate would be the better injections for the body, into the veins themselves. For, as we find, while the muscular forces become involved in and about the portions of the heart’s activity, and especially in the upper arm and shoulder - and the shortening of the breath, the Adenine Sulphate will work the better with the system.

This we would do at once.

9. (Q) Can liver extract be used intramuscularly daily to advantage? (A) This, as we find, would NOT be the better under the existent conditions; though BEEF JUICE taken internally - every fifteen to twenty minutes a few drops - would be the more effective for the strengthening of the body and for starting the assimilations with the blood flow. Every fifteen to twenty minutes give just a sip - a few drops - of the pure beef juice; INTERNALLY, not in the veins.

10. (Q) Any other advice at this time? (A) Should there be the necessity for resorting to the transfusion, then we might give other suggestions for making for its assimilation or its flow through the system. But these as indicated will be the better for the system in the present.

ADENINE SULPHATE INTRAVENOUSLY IN PROPORTIONS NECESSARY THREE TIMES DAILY IS PREFERABLE AND WILL MAKE TRANSFUSION LESS DANGEROUS IF SUCH BECOMES NECESSARY ONLY USE TRANSFUSION AS LAST RESORT AND THEN WE MIGHT GIVE OTHER SUGGESTIONS FOR ASSISTING ITS FLOW THROUGH SYSTEM LIVER EXTRACT NOT ADVISABLE RATHER GIVE PURE BEEF JUICE INTERNALLY JUST A SIP OR FEW DROPS EVERY FIFTEEN TO TWENTY MINUTES FULL INFORMATION SPECIAL TO HOME.
