This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 16th day of July, 1941, in accordance with request made by the self through sister, Miss [338], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

  1. GC: You will have before you the entity [933], named at birth [933], born October 21, 1914, in Boston, Mass. You will give for this entity a Check Life Reading at this time, with information, advice and guidance as to his mental, material and spiritual welfare; which will help him make life more worth while for self and others. You will answer the questions that may be submitted, as I ask them:

  2. EC: Yes, we have the records here, and the information which has been indicated through these channels respecting the activities of this entity in this present sojourn, - now called [933].

  3. In giving that as we find may be the most helpful, we would counsel that the entity study what has already been given through this channel; not only the original information as to appearances and activities but also that given as to the application of self in those fields of service in which there might be the greater response to that within self.

  4. To be sure, much of that given as to the latent forces and vibrations about the body is indicated in the periods of turmoil, indecision, and the desires that naturally arise as innate experiences.

  5. It is indicated that the entity, through its choice of activity, has made preparations for material service in the present, - yet this does not wholly satisfy.

  6. As we find - now - we would take a course in electrotherapy, which as we have indicated is the channel through which the body might, - if there is the finding of self, - make the better and the greater application for beneficial results to individuals; rather than merely the biological aspects of conditions that may arise from same.

  7. The innate ability as the musician should and will exert itself. More often the entity should turn to that natal and natural ability in music, when there are those periods of indecision, periods of loneliness, periods of wonderment, - to find that quieting influence.

  8. For, it has been truly said, music alone spans the sphere of spiritual and mental attainment.

  9. Then, rather than in those applications that are as rote, as found in biological studies, - prepare self more for the application of helpful experiences in same; as of music - that vibrates to the body in the same manner as electrotherapy of the short wave, of the high vibration, - for it is the lowest form of vibration electrically that gives creative forces, rather than the highest. It is the high vibration that destroys.

  10. The study and the application of self in THOSE directions in the present, as we find, from the material angle, should and will bring harmony, - if there is the application of self and the holding to that as indicated in those experiences when the entity was a teacher, to whom many came to be taught the spiritual truths. [See 933-1.]

  11. Apply that in self and in self’s problems in the present.

  12. DO NOT - for any cause - attempt to defeat the purposes of the Creative Forces, or God, with thy activities or with others’ activities.

  13. Thus innately, and much more manifestedly, there may come the helpful forces by the entity turning the more oft to the analyzing of self in those directions that have been heretofore indicated, and as we would give here.

  14. FIND the answer within self. KNOW it is not by chance that the opportunities are before thee in the present. Hence studying first to know thy ideal, - spiritually, mentally, materially, - show thyself approved in all good conscience unto that thou hast chosen as thy ideal.

  15. Then applying self in those directions, we should find not only harmony and success materially, but that feeling, that peace as He has promised to all who seek to know His way.

  16. Do that.

  17. Not in any exaltation, nor in any justification, but as a GLORIFYING of Creative Forces - God - in thy activities, in thy dealing with thy fellow men.

  18. Ready for questions.

  19. (Q) Please give the exact time of my birth. (A) Nine-thirty in the evening, October 21, 1914.

  20. (Q) What is the correct system to use in astrology - the Heliocentric or the geocentric system? (A) As we have indicated, the Persian - or the geocentric - is the nearer correct.

But, as we have also indicated, these - the astrological urges - are ONLY tendencies! Choices must be made, and the application of self to the universal laws is effective - in EACH life!

Do these things as we have indicated.

Analyze all that has been given. See how it fits into thy longings, thy hopes; and ye will find that it may be made practical in the daily life.

  1. We are through for the present.
