This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce, in New York City, at 290 Riverside Drive, this 2nd day of December, 1927, in accordance with request made by the father and mother, Mr. [4124] and wife.

Born March 17, 1913, 4:11 P. M., at 590 W. 172 St., N.Y.C. Time of Reading 7:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, New York.

1. DEK: You will give the relation of the entity and the universe and the universal forces, giving the conditions that are, in personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life, also the former appearances in the earth’s plane, giving time, place, and the name, and [that] in that life which built or retarded the development for the entity, giving the abilities of the present entity, and that to which it may attain, and how.

2. EC: This body is under the influences of Jupiter, Mercury, and Uranus with those applications [afflictions?] in Saturn. As to these influences as are seen, irrespective of the application of will’s forces we find (there, to hinder in the manner of). [Note: Last 7 words [in parens] of this paragraph were lined out by GD]

3. The inability of the entity to understand why that ego should be subjugated to another. Hence with these complicating conditions in the present plane, we find much care, much attention should be given in that stage when the mind and their [the?] reactions from same will give that correct balance with same, that the entity may develop good [toward?] - that oneness of purpose.

4. In the universal forces found in the astrological conditions and positions, irrespective of the will, [we find] one that has innate high and noble purposes. He is often misunderstood, and when rebuked, the entity little understands why one that finds much seems to be ever contrary with the desire of the body, yet loving and careful of those little things that shows the innate why a feeling as the entity has, may be guided aright.

5. One that is high-tempered, yet, be guided in the correct way and manner, will bring much joy, much happiness, much of better understanding to those that would be found in oppression, and one that would bring release to many.

6. HE SHOULD BE A LAWYER. One that will bring through those abilities, guided aright, those conditions of the more … … knowledge of that unison, of the purpose in RIGHT FOR RIGHT’S SAKE, and not because another says this is right or wrong. 7. One that with the abilities untrained would bring those opposing forces as found in Saturn and the cusps. For in the cusps is seen, with those influences in the Uranian, that these bring those passions or those unruly conditions that may not be subdued by force, but conquered, guided and led in love. One that is [when?] guided aright may make same manifest in many ways, as meted in justice, and as given in literature. For these, as seen, to many, become the thought of this entity.

8. One that is mindful of conditions and doesn’t desire to see anything or anyone suffer. While the idea of tease or taunt is seen at times, most is [a] direct debt toward those that would persecute another.

10. In the one before this, we find in that period when the Revolution in France brought the uprising of the common people. The entity was then among those that strove for the idea of people having their … … in the laws and those judges, in the name then - Marat. The entity came through this experience until there were brought those conditions that showed the acts … … in their own relations and families. This broke much of the spirit, and the entity lost during this period of the experience. In the urge is seen that the entity lost through the inactivity - of the turning to those that fled the death. Hence … … in the face, toward such conditions in the urge, toward that change as came … … the inaction toward those that persecute the entity.

11. In the one before this, we find in that period when [there was] the rebuilding of the Holy City. The entity then [was] among those who inclined toward the establishing of worship, and yet gave self in that manner that brought to self those of the bad, some persecutions, some without, then in the name Eclat. The urge from this appearance is seen [in] the misunderstanding, the misapplication towards the spiritual, hence they necessitate guiding the conscious forces towards those of the high spiritual forces, that the awakening may bring to the body the forces in the … … more perfect understanding of the self, and such relation to the spiritual forces in the earth.

12. In the one before this, we find in that period when [there were] the arms [Ohums? [Aymaras?]] in that manner [land?] known as Peru. The entity [was] among the rulers of that period. The entity came in and lost through self, and [in?] brandishing power and position as given to the entity, and misapplication of same.

13. The urge as seen, the desire for stay [?] yet the inactive forces toward same - the desire for high place, for power, yet experienced inactive force toward same. May this developing mind be guided direct, and there will come the ability to reach its desires in the innate forces of the entity.

14. As to the ability [abilities?], these depend on that of the directing of the developing mental body. In the law, in the court, in such forces do the abilities of the entity lie, guided, directed in those channels, for these are as innate abilities once awakened within the entity. Those that guide same, then, must become aware that these may be awakened through that of awakening first by spiritual introspection of the entity, for all good must be founded upon the relation of an entity to its Giver. It seeks that unison with those forces that may be called creative energy, or that inter-between called God, or that force that manifests in the world as good.
