This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 28th day of April, 1930, in accordance with request made by self, through her husband, Mr. [99].

[Edgar Cayce; Mrs. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Messrs. [99], Levy and Isaacs.]

Time of Reading 11:25 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [98], this we have had before. In some respects conditions are not so good as when we last had same. In others we find conditions are very good. There should be more precaution taken as to the adherence of the diet as necessary to keep the proper elimination, as well as that, that assimilated is BUILDING and replenishing for the physical forces of the body. Too much worry and too much of the distresses as being for disturbance, either of the too much bearing down as comes from too long standing on feet, as well as tendency to overtax the vegetative nerve system, causing distresses through the lower portion, especially, of the alimentary canal - and the irritation as is produced there from too much acidity. These being minded of, and precautions taken as respecting same, we should find - with the manipulations given sufficiently often to keep the proper adjustments, and the irritation being removed by the use of any of those repositories, or using Tim in the manner as has been given FOR the use of same, would reduce the irritation and be helpful to the body.

  2. In the matter of the diet, let those be more of those that are the alkalin reacting for the system, and well were those of the oils - especially olive oil - taken in system. These would be good for the conditions. Ready for questions.

  3. (Q) Why has the body lost so much weight? and what should be done to regain it? (A) This has just been given, as to what should be done - and why the body has lost weight may be easily seen from that as has been given!

  4. (Q) Will the spring tonic given in a reading as specific be of help to this body? (A) Be of help to the body, provided there are not too much of the acid FORMING foods taken in system. Better make some corrections as respecting the present conditions before the tonic would be taken, or we may produce too much distress through the alimentary canal. This may be taken as has been outlined, but it shouldn’t be taken promiscuously - unless it’s known what it’s taken for! Don’t be foolish!

  5. (Q) Should the body eat any meat? (A) The juices should be eaten, especially those of beef and of mutton. Fowl may be taken also in moderation.

  6. That is all the questions.

  7. We are through with this reading.
