This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at the David E. Kahn home, 44 West 77th St., Apt. 14-W, New York City, this 26th day of October, 1935, in accordance with request made by the mother - Mrs. [1073], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading 11:40 to 11:50 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. Detroit, Mich. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes.

2. While there is much to be desired for improvements in the body, as WE find there is response to those applications being made for the correction and for the inducing - as it were - of those inclinations, those activities in the physical body, to not only stop the accumulations but to produce the absorption of same and the elimination of such accumulations through the system.

3. To be sure, these reactions are slow; yet there are days when there is shown great improvement - while at others there is the INCLINATION for the activity to become more acute or severe.

4. But be patient, and this will be MUCH better than operative forces - which under the circumstances and conditions could ONLY mean a separation.

5. Ready for questions.

6. (Q) Why has the condition become worse during the last few days? (A) As indicated, this is exaggerated by the activities of those acids used too greatly for the system. But if the whole of the applications as indicated will be used, there will be made greater improvements - as progress is made in this condition.

7. (Q) Are the colonic irrigations, osteopathic treatments and electrical treatments being correctly given? (A) The treatments electrically are not given that pass THROUGH or make for vibrations from the Hydrochloric properties, see? These should be from a low form of galvanic electricity, rather than from the static and from the activities that produce these reactions.

Hence we will find that if the colonics are kept so that the accumulations are removed, that are increased through the manipulative forces osteopathically, these will be more helpful.

The low form of the electrical forces is most to be desired, and we would find better response.

8. (Q) Why does he have difficulty taking the colonics? (A) This is rather from the attitude that has been produced, than from a physical condition.

9. (Q) Can anything be given to stimulate bowel activity? (A) So long as there is the necessity for this increased condition to be eliminated, it is not best to give that which would be stimulating for an increased flow of the lymph through the bowels. Rather let this come AS conditions are greater eliminated, or as there are greater eliminations FROM the inflammations.

10. (Q) Is there any improvement in his condition? (A) As indicated, there is improvement; though there are days and periods when apparently it goes back. But there are the resistances being builded, and the break-up without increase of the localization of the inflammation.

11. (Q) If the low form of electrical vibration is used through the Wet Cell Appliance, where should the attachments be made? (A) The small copper plate would be attached first, at the 4th lumbar. The larger nickel plate, passing through the Hydrochloric solution, would be attached last - at the umbilicus center.

12. (Q) How should the solution be prepared? (A) As given. Twenty percent solution.

13. (Q) Any further advice as to mental or physical condition? (A) As first indicated, hold to those things that have been given. The addition of others, and in other manners of presenting same to the body for reaction, does not - as we have indicated prove so beneficial.

As I understand from the reading, this form of electrical vibration is preferable to that being given. No doubt Dr. King will be interested in watching the reaction from this, as it is something apparently new - carrying properties into the system VIBRATORILY.)
