Time of Reading 4:10 to 4:15 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Michigan. (Physical Suggestion)
-
EC: Yes.
-
As we find, conditions are progressing very satisfactorily; yet the anxieties at times and those inclinations as arise from some of the activities through the system bring some disturbing forces.
-
In the use of the lights - the Mercury Quartz; do not make them closer than thirty-six to thirty-eight inches, for a minute or a minute and a half; else we may have too much heat and produce dizziness - with the weakening of the body, as has been. But these should be rather as a stimulation and as a destructive force only for that which has produced temperature. For to BREAK DOWN tissue by too close use of same would become detrimental! Twice a week should be sufficient for the massage, provided the rest of those things given are kept up.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Should external application be continued? and how often applied? (A) As we find these applications should be continued whenever there is the feeling of the need of such stimulation as the applications bring.
-
(Q) What laxative should be taken? (A) As we find if we would combine or rather alternate between these, it would be much preferable. First we would take the Castoria, and next we would take a little Milk of Bismuth with a few drops of Elixir or Lactated Pepsin in same - that is, half a teaspoonful of the Bismuth in which there is put three to six drops of the Pepsin, stirred in a full glass of water. Then the next period take the Milk of Magnesia - this a whole tablespoonful.
But do not let the system RELY upon these; rather make them as usages in the excess of eliminations for the removal of the cold and congestion that is set in motion by the activity of the massages and the lights.
-
(Q) Any specific directions as to manipulations? (A) A general manipulation to set up drainages throughout the system is preferable.
-
We are through for the present.
Copy to Self - Wired also ” ” Ass’n file
(Thirty-six to thirty-eight inches for minute to minute and a half, to stimulate only. Continue external applications when such stimulation felt needed. Have massages twice weekly, general manipulation to set up drainages. Take Castoria first, then other eliminants as outlined in full report being mailed.)
