This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 12th day of December, 1928, in accordance with request made by self - Mrs. [1100].

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1100] - this we have had before. Now, there are many changes for the physical forces of the body from that as we have had before. Some for improvement. Some in their changing bring those conditions which are unsatisfactory. While not wholly an abnormal, to the extent of being diseased, but rather as dis-ease for the body, troubling same - but the body is passing through a period of change [See 1100-4, Par. R1] in it’s mental application of spiritual and mental truths for the body. Physically, we find conditions rather those of a nervous digestion, or nervous indigestion, as would be called. This producing irritation to the extent of restlessness in its reaction not only from nominal sleep, but the body finds self easily irritated at OTHER periods. This more (physically) a form of acid as is being produced in the system through unbalancing of conditions as are thrown off from the system itself by non-eliminations in a proper manner. Correct those conditions in the lower dorsal and lumbar region by one to two good thorough manipulations, osteopathically given; taking about half of an ordinary bottle of agar and the oil, or Petrolagar - the alkaline - and we will find the conditions disappearing. Those troubles as caused throughout the rest of the system are irritations from the same condition. Ready for questions.

2. (Q) What further is necessary to clear the scalp condition? (A) Keep the eliminations more in order and lose acid in system, and the massage to the hair - of the scalp - and applying the white vaseline occasionally, thoroughly rubbed in, and at least once each week cleanse same with the diluted alcohol, and we will find these conditions will clear themselves. Principally the acid must be removed from the system.

3. (Q) Why is my tongue constantly coated? (A) The acid condition existent in the digestive system. This producing regurgitation, forming that of the signal of distress through alimentary canal. Have the corrections made osteopathically, take those properties as given, and we will find the system clearing itself in five to ten days. Do that.

4. (Q) What causes restlessness at night and what should be done for it? (A) Just as has been given.

R1. 12/26/28 “Regarding my reading, Mr. Cayce, I don’t know just what it referred to, unless it was to the giving up of meats as naturally that would cause a change in my body. Do you think that is what is meant? Please let me know what your idea is concerning same.

“I had a dream about a year ago that I would like to have interpreted when you are able. Is that too long ago to be able to get an interpretation?”

R2. 1/4/29 EC’s reply: “I don’t know - and wondered, of course, when we went over the information, just what it had reference to regarding the change. I’m sure, however, we will be able to figure this out sometime in the near future… I don’t think it has been too long (if you remember the date) for us to get this dream. I have almost come to the conclusion that in dream is one of the DEFINITE ways we DO get communication. On just what is the force or power, of course we may all differ - but, anyway, it is some force or power that far transcends our normal abilities, and MOST dreams are worth while if we learn to apply the lesson taught.”

R3. 1/24/29 “I have forgotten the date of the dream I mentioned, so guess we will have to pass it by.”
