LBC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the relief of the body.
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here. This we have had before.
-
Now, we find some conditions have become more acute, through the lack of proper stimulation for heart’s action. As has been given, this necessary - even with the equalizing of the blood in circulation. That as hinders the greatest, however, is the obstructions as seen through the intestinal system, where conditions become acute on account of clogging and congestion in the intestine itself. This in the small, and just above entrance to the colon, and a portion of the lower side, see? With the increased circulation, even yet, these may be eased; not relieved, as we see, entirely, unless this is able to be cleansed by the injection, or by the manipulation necessary to cause expulsion and elimination without rupture to the walls themselves, see? Very weak - not much resistance - settling of circulation is harder.
-
(Q) Any further suggestions? (A) Those only as given here, as we see at present. Hard condition to combat with. Patience - persistence - and keep the circulation up as much as possible without overtaxing the heart too much, see? for this dilatation is hard to combat with, with a settling circulation and conditions in intestines and liver and kidneys. This SHOULD have been done before - this increased circulation and more careful equalization.
-
We are through for the present.
Reports
Reports & Follow-up
R1. 4/2/28 EC’s letter to Mrs. [340] indicated that Mrs. Thomas B. House (Carrie Salter House) had gone to Ky., by wired request, to nurse Mr. [1103]. “They, like many people, are having quite a time getting the suggestions carried out - though he improved when they even gave it half a show.”
R2. 4/5/28 Mrs. House wired: “[1103] seems better this A.M.”
R3. 4/14/28 EC’s letter to Mrs. [340]: “[1103] has gotten along very nicely, is up, though not able to go back to work as yet.”
R4. GD’s note: I remember Mrs. House telling about this case. She persisted in the hot oil treatments, etc., and finally the obstruction was removed from the intestines; the patient also ejected two enormous kidney stones.
R5. 9/5/28 Niece [569]‘s ltr.: “[1103] says he never felt better in his life. I give you, Dr. House and Carrie House the credit for him being alive today.”
R6. 1/13/34 We heard that Mr. [1103] had suffered a slight stroke.
R7. 11/13/35 See 1103-5 following a recent heart attack, stroke.
R8. 4/14/59 Son Mr. [419] reported, in re 1103-4 and preceding 1103-3 and 1103-2: “Mr. Edgar Cayce’s readings and Mrs. House’s excellent nursing cured my father of a complex kidney condition when everything else had failed.”
