1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1163]; this we have had before.

2. As we find, there are indications of a better coordination in the mental and physical reactions in this body. Though they are slight in the present and at times appear to revert to an excess in the mental reactions, as we find - if there is, as indicated in the beginning, the consistent and persistent application of those vibrations through the Wet Cell Appliance carrying the properties that affect the glandular secretion and make for the toning of the vibratory forces of the electronic energies through the very nerve system and its coordination with the muscular forces, and the brain tissue itself, these should bring about a much nearer normal condition for this body.

3. Do not be negligent in taking care of the anodes or of changing the properties in the solutions, or the solutions in their regular way and manner. For these are the EFFECTIVE forces in the activity of the glandular secretions in the active forces of the body itself.

4. We would find also that it would be most helpful if there would be suggestions given as the body may be quieted, either in suggestion in reading, in massage when it is ready for sleep; suggestions for normalcy, suggestions for proper reactions to all suggestions that may be given. These may be done at regular periods. And let the nominal reaction come. Do not continue for LONG periods, but two, three, four days, and give these an opportunity then to react upon the system, see?

5. A gentle massage along the spine just before the body is ready for sleep, with oils would be well; as the combinations of Olive Oil, Russian white Oil, Cedar Wood Oil and the Oil of Pine Needles - equal portions. Shake these together. Massage only what the body absorbs. These will stimulate. And as the massage is given, then the suggestions also. ALWAYS CONSTRUCTIVE, NEVER NEGATIVE SUGGESTIONS!

6. The diet and care has been very good.

7. Precautions as to the Appliance should be taken. At times these attachments have NOT been properly adjusted.

8. The other suggestions followed, consistently, persistently, we should find a great deal of help for this body.

10. (Q) Other than the Appliance, are all treatments being properly carried out? (A) These as indicated are very good. The suggestions and the oil massages we would follow in the manner indicted.

11. (Q) Just what progress is he making? (A) As indicated, there is shown a great deal of progress, especially in those periods when there is almost perfect coordination between the reflexes or suggestive forces or the activity of the body. The NERVOUSNESS is shown to be less. There are periods when there is a reverting, but keep the eliminations - more by diet and by the NATURAL forces than by purgatives.

12. (Q) What advice is there for the one giving the treatments? (A) As indicated, be consistent, be persistent; and we will find that the suggestive forces, the reactions to the body will be worthy of all the effort as may be spent.

13. (Q) What should his diet be? (A) This has been indicated, and keep towards alkalines but keep body-building forces also.

14. (Q) How long before further improvement may be shown? (A) Gradual changes, and as we find in the next ninety to hundred and twenty days we should see CONTINUED improvement. This is a GROWTH. Don’t expect for it to happen overnight. And by the time of the next cycle*, as given, comes about - there should be near to normality.

Since the father first requested a reading in July 1930 we could assume that the boy was over 7 yrs. old at the time of the readings. The next cycle could be at 14 yrs. or 21 yrs., depending on age of the boy at the time of the readings.]

15. (Q) Are Appliance treatments in accordance with reading suggestions? (A) As indicated, these have NOT been at ALL times PROPERLY adjusted. Keep to those in their changes and in their application and in the cleansing of the applicators in their right way and manner.

B2. 9/12/36 Mr. [257]‘s letter:

I heard from Mrs. […] to-day. She says that she believes her son is better and is writing you for a check reading. Having seen the boy, I might add a few suggestions which she wanted me to ask so that you could include them.

What is the condition of the boy at this time? Have the treatments been given as specified by the readings? In what way can they be improved upon? What advice is there for the person who is giving the treatments to aid her to assist the boy further? What should his diet now be? What additional treatments should he now take and when? Are the batteries in accordance with Readings instructions? How long will it be before further improvement will be shown by the boy?

Mrs. […] says that you had sent her a letter which I imagine came from the people who make the batteries saying that two dollars each time was required for the refills. After she sent you the 2.00 you then wrote her that it would be necessary to send only 70 cents and that you would give her credit for 1.30. At a later date they wrote that she would have to have five bottles of something at $1.00 each. Please write and explain to her what the refills cost. She can buy Atomidine here in N.Y., so it will be only the other ingredients.

She is trying to follow the readings exactly as laid out and I think she will get results.

B3. 9/21/36 EC’s letter to Mr. [257]: “We have an appointment for the [1163] boy last of this week. Do hope the boy is on the improve. Am sure they will get the matter all straight about the recharge of the Appliances. They have handled the exchange from the [H.H.R.] office - don’t want to mix into this any more than possible; only makes for confusion and I have nothing to do with the office.”
