As we find conditions are not so well in many respects.

There should have been the closer adherence to the manner, the character of administering the applications through the low electrical vibrations. These as we find have only in part been done. This has allowed or did allow for the return of those hindrances in the locomotion’s activity and in the circulatory system.

We would then have applied those activities as indicated, with a rub that would stimulate the circulation through the the torso and trunk portion of the body; especially along the lower lumbar and through the area above the kidneys. This with the combination of oils that would be absorbed by the body. As combined in this manner, these would have been the better as we find:

To 2 ounces of the Oil of Pine Needles as the carrier, added:
Oil of Wintergreen…1/2 ounce, Oil of Cedar Wood…1/2 ounce, Oil of Sassafras Root…1/4 ounce, Compound Tincture of Benzoin…1 ounce.
Shake these together, for they separate. Morning and evening would have been the better for the application. They would rest the body.

The quieting of the digestive forces would have been the better with that combination of equal portions, or an ounce each, of Cinnamon Water and Lime Water, to which should have been added 10% solution Bromide of Potassium twenty minims, 10% solution Iodide of Potassium ten minims. A teaspoonful of this two hours apart would keep and make for better digestion and assimilation. These we would do, or would have done.
