This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 1st day of August, 1939, in accordance with request made by the mother - Mrs. [934], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions which may be submitted, as I ask them:

EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1208].

Conditions in a general manner are much improved since last we had same here.

As we find, it would be well to first cleanse the system of the effects of those properties which have been indicated, - that is, the Sulphur and the other properties, - by the use of Castoria AND the alkalizer that has been indicated (the Magnesia) continued for at least two or three days.

Then during the rest period of about a week to ten days, there should be more of the adjustments for the correction of the flow of the nerve energy and blood supply to the head, the neck, and especially to the throat and parts of the nasal passages where there are the disturbances which prevent the ability for the breathing when sleeping.

Then, after at least three to six such treatments, give another course of about six to ten doses of the Sulphur and the Salts and Cream of Tartar as indicated.

These as we find - if the diet is kept, and the conditions as related to the manner of keeping the activities away from dampness while the properties are taken - should purify the blood system in such a manner that the reactions from the manipulations would be much more effective.

(Q) Then, operative measures would not be necessary for the adenoids? (A) This depends entirely upon the diet and the manner of treatment, and as to whether or not there is given sufficient of the manipulations WHEN the system is cleared, for this to be removed WITHOUT operative forces!
If there is NOT the adherence to these suggestions, operative measures may become necessary - and will be rather severe!

(Q) What causes the cough, especially of morning? Anything in particular to do for that? (A) Do ALL of these things indicated, if we would remove the disturbance! This is the attempt of the blood supply to equalize itself, and causes an irritation in the tonsil area.

(Q) Does adenoid condition cause itching in ear? (A) Better would it be to say that the itching ear and the adenoids condition are part and parcel of the same disturbance! both being from the lack of proper cleansing or purifying through the blood system, and the poor circulation through that particular portion of the body!
Do those things as we have indicated, if we would bring the better forces for the body!

Dr. Charles F. Kenney, 1301 Lipscomb St., Fort Worth, Texas
My dear Dr. Kenney:-
I am giving your name to Mrs. [934], sometime a resident of Virginia Beach, but now moving to Fort Worth. I have been treating her little boy for frequent head colds, stuffy nose, and nocturnal nasal obstruction. There is some adenoid tissue and tonsil enlargement, and treatment has been an effort to avert operation. His general condition was below par. General osteopathic treatment with special emphasis to the anterior and posterior cervical regions has effected excellent results and I hope you can continue the improvement. Incidental to treatment has been the insistence on a better balanced diet, regular meal hours, and fewer sweets. Also regular and adequate rest, and the supplementary use of Cod Liver Oil - particularly in the winter months. More specifically the upper dorsal is the center of the lesion area.
