This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 1st day of November, 1940, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [1309], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]

At the home Time of Reading of […], 3:35 to 3:40 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Ohio.

  1. GC: You will answer the questions regarding this body, as I ask them:

  2. EC: Yes. Ready for questions.

  3. (Q) Is Dr. Vorhees [R. D. Vorhees, D.O.], Cleveland, Ohio, doing satisfactory finger surgery work for me? (A) As we find, if this is carried out - while at variance to some that would perform such - it may prove to be satisfactory. It isn’t indicated just how far this is to go as yet.

Very well, if carried out in its entirety.

  1. (Q) Shall he give more finger surgery treatments this fall? How many, how often? (A) There should be given sufficient to break up the lesions along the Eustachian tubes; and these given sufficiently often to prevent their adherence again. This, to be sure, can best be determined - as to how many and as to how often - by the manner in which the body reacts to the treatments. These may best be determined, then, by Dr. Vorhees, see?

  2. (Q) Can he finish breaking down adhesions by Christmas? (A) This, again, depends upon the response the BODY makes. These should be sufficient, but later there would be the necessity for preventing these from adhering again, see?

Read just what has been given, and then use consistency and judgement with that being done.

  1. (Q) Is there someone in Cleveland who could do more satis- factory work and more in accord with that indicated? (A) You’ve begun here; don’t change, or else you may find you’ll not get ANY results from same?

  2. (Q) Any further advice for me? (A) Be persistent. Don’t stop too soon, but let the reaction be that as consistently followed out, with the suggestions as indicated and that needed for this breaking up of the adhesions and lesions.

  3. We are through with this Reading.
