This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 24th day of July, 1926, in accordance with request made by her husband - [900].

[Edgar Cayce; [900], Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Dr. T. B. House and Mr. Frank E. Mohr.]

Time of Reading Pinewood Hotel, 3:40 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Virginia Beach, Va.

  1. [900]: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body. You will answer the questions I ask you.

  2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. This we have had before.

  3. Now, we find there are many changes in the physical condition of the body at the present time from that as we have had here before. There are some physical conditions that should be corrected in the body at this present time. Not that the condition is at that stage as to cause uneasiness at the present stage, yet without the correction of same there will, with the general cycle and the functioning of the organs of system, under this strain, there would be brought in the condition those that would cause distress. This condition we find exists in the 12th dorsal and the 2nd lumbar. This is, as seen, a wrench in the spinal column that causes some subluxation. The correction of this, with the general treatment as would be given with this correction, would bring nearer normal conditions for the body. This correction, as we see, may be made advantageous to the body at the present stage, for there has been, as seen heretofore, some conditions existing in the pelvis region that needed correction. With these ligaments and tendons now brought to the normal condition in the lower dorsal and lumbar region, these conditions will be bettered. That as is produced in the system at the present is an unbalancing of the circulation to the various portions of the lower extremities - the hot and cold flushes at times, this especially when the body lies down to rest; the nausea at times - is produced from this unequalized circulation in this portion of the system, affecting then directly the equilibrium through the mesenteric system. This also is that as produces the tiredness under the region of the plexus governing the upper extremities. These we would correct through that as the osteopathic adjustments, see? Do that.

  4. Ready for questions.

  5. (Q) Is there anything in the system now detrimental to the bearing of a child? (A) With this correction in the lumbar and lower dorsal region, we will find that those conditions that have been in the physical sense in the way would be corrected.

  6. (Q) It would be better then to wait awhile before entering any condition of pregnancy? (A) These corrections should be made, or else it would not be well, and these corrections should be made for the better physical condition of the body throughout, for with an unequalized, unbalanced, circulation throughout the pelvis region, and especially in the mesenteric system, we will find there would come distresses, not only in the pelvis organs, but in the digestive system.

  7. (Q) The body, in her own mind, feels she is not physically yet ready for a child. (A) (interrupting) This will be overcome, with the physical condition nearer fit for the position of this condition in the life of the entity, and, as has been given, this should come to bear in the life of the entity.

  8. (Q) When would be the best time - (A) October, November, present year.

  9. (Q) Any further advice? (A) Keep in the body physically fit; keep in the mental those conditions as to the worthiness of self, and as to that which the offspring would mean to many.

  10. We are through.
