GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [136] of New York City, and the dreams this body had on the dates which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from each of these, as I read same to you, and you will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding same.
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here. This we have had before. The dreams come to the body through those channels as have been seen and outlined for the body, and may be used in that way and manner as has been seen and given. Ready for dream.

(Q) One recent morning. Saw my mother [139]. She told me that I should warn my Aunt Helen against an accident. Helen seemed to get into an accident, get badly hurt, and my mother took sick from it. (A) This, as is presented, is an accident regarding getting injured in an automobile and street car accident. Be warned, then, and warn the body as regarding same, see? and when the body keeps in that way of being warned, or keeps from the car, then this may not be expected to happen, for here we have, as it were, the direct communication of the entity in the spirit plane with the entity in the material plane, the attunement being reached when the entity in the body- conscious mind being subjugated and an at-onement with universal forces. This also shows the entity how that the entity in the spirit plane, or spirit entity, is mindful of conditions which transpire, exist, in the material plane, see?
-
(Q) When is this accident in danger of happening to my Aunt Helen? (A) Within the present moon’s phase, for that is as that element bringing those conditions to bear regarding the body - the universality again of the elements, and their action or activity, or relativity of forces, regarding individuals in the earth’s plane. Before the waning of the moon, see?
-
(Q) In what manner? (A) As given, street car and automobile accident.
-
(Q) How may it be avoided? (A) As given. Be warned of riding in either through these phases - that is, until the waning of the moon.
-
(Q) Morning of November 17, 1926. Dreamed my cousin William was married. (A) This is as the subconscious forces gaining premonition of conditions through subconscious reality of its universality of elemental conditions. Soon there will be that report or message concerning this entity seen and the entity’s relations with others respecting these kind, or these natures of conditions. Follow this and it will be seen. This appearing or coming about within the present phase of Venus’ influence in the earth - meaning in the life of this individual. Being then within the next three months, see?

R2. 11/24/26 Husband [900]‘s letter: “I guess [136]‘s experiences are about as interesting as any we have had. 136-48 regarding direct communication between consciousness viewing cosmically and consciousness viewing intellectually was clear, pronounced and of definite, precise character and practical value. No vagueness or lack of practical application here. [136] is in a quandary. I say she ought to tell her Aunt, my mother [106] advises against it. My mother says it would start detrimental talk and that even if Helen pretended to disbelieve it she might take the warning, etc., etc. Of course, working for the cause of life, who cares about personal sacrifice? [136] has decided to do this: She is going to gamble that the accident does not occur or, if it does, that it will not result too seriously and then if and when it does she is going to show her Aunt the readings and tell her that she would not have shown it before because Helen would not have believed. Now, the next time she gets for herself or through [136] such a warning she (the aunt) will recognize the reality of the source of information and desirability of heeding it. [136] claims that intellectual reason will not convince, but this experience correlated afterwards with the reading and the reason for not having shown the reading may cause some attention to be paid to cosmic experience. If she won’t after the accident, she won’t before and she is beyond this source of help. She will learn by experience, the only method for some of the lacking in understanding to learn and the reason for much of the suffering of the blind or even previously blind (on earth before) people. Well, that is a question that I don’t quite think is altogether solved correctly by [136], yet I don’t want to be too insistent. My responsibility begins by showing the way, but where does it end? Should I warn Helen, the aunt? [136]‘s solution does not hold, for life, or consciousness or God, risks its own belittling, its own condemnation, its own hardships, by permitting its own portion to become intellectualized to gain a knowledge of self-being, like this whole power, conscious of this power of life…
“I may be wrong and won’t press the point but will go right to [136]‘s dreams of this morning that are right in line with the same interesting phase.” [See 11/29/26 dream interpretation reading, 136-50].
