This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 28th day of July, 1927, in accordance with request made by [900].

Time of Reading 4:15 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.

1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [136] of New York City, and the dream this body had on the date which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from this, as I read it to you.

2. EC: We have the body, the enquiring mind, [136]. This we have had here before. Ready for dreams.

3. (Q) Afternoon or night of Tuesday, July 26, 1927. Saw the boat Leviathian and [137] and [140] very sick, and it seemed something was the matter with [137] and that he was dead, for [140] was in a mourning veil. (A) This we find is presented to the entity through one of those phases of the body-conscious as correlated with subconscious forces of the body. As the body consciously, then, reasons as respecting voyage contemplated, there is visioned that which as ordinarily termed or found affects individuals during their voyage or journey on waters - and reasoning then is as of that which might occur to a body already ill, see? while the realities of conditions are that - were the body taking trip, use that as has been given for such conditions. Even the sickness need not occur. [See 106-7, 4/20/25, for her mother-in-law.]

The lesson, then, that of the manner and phase of the vision that the conscious mind is at times controlled by the body conscious forces, as well as subconscious forces that are builded in a body, see? and the reason is rather then as speculative than a truth, see?

The properties to be used by the body, then, are as these: One-half (1/2) ounce each, limewater and cinnamon water together, or combined - adding to same ten (10) drops of ten per cent (10%) solution Iodide of Potassium, and five (5) drops of ten per cent (10%) solution Bromide of Potassium.

See that system is well cleansed with a mild cathartic before such trip is begun. Then - should there be the least indication of nausea - take three to five drops of this solution in water. The dose may be repeated in two hours, or when ever necessary. This has been given as correction for nausea in sea voyage or train sickness, and the condition will prove to be beneficial to anyone that would apply same. Ready for questions.
