This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 4th day of September, 1928, in accordance with request made by his brother, Mr. [900].

1. EC: Yes, we have the body - this we have had before. Now, throughout the general physical body we find much improvement from that as we have had before; yet there are those conditions of which the body should be mindful and be warned concerning. Especially in this present cycle there is more danger of infection through the throat and pulmonaries, on account of the changes taking place in the body, than would be ordinarily; though the body in many respects and manners is better fitted, better suited, to resist many of those conditions that have caused some worry to the body. This portion of system needs to be cared for and mindful of. Beware of cold and congestion not being taken in hand at once, for there is the easy accentuation to the pulmonaries that brings fevers at this time, and these should be warned against. Congestion, cold, already as seen, affects the system easily, and to meet these we would first accentuate the eliminations and keep the nostrils, throat, mouth, and the bronchials, with that antiseptic that would prevent any of the infectious forces adhering or causing troubles. Use, then, those of the eliminants for the liver in this: That of at least two doses prepared in capsule, in this quantity for each capsule:

Podophyllum…1/2 grain, Cascara Sagrada Compound…1/2 grain, Senna…1/2 grain.

2. This would preferably be taken in evenings. The morning following same, after the second dose is taken, take a mild saline - as a tablespoonful of Pluto water, or of ANY saline that will cleanse the system.

3. Use the inhalant as has been outlined for such conditions, and gargle of the forces in Glyco-Thymoline for throat and nostrils, see? Do that. Ready for questions. We are through with this reading.
