GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for the improvement of same, and you will tell us if this condition with this body is what is known as diphtheria.
-
EC: Now, we find the conditions are similar to those as we have had here before. While the condition shows some exaggerations in the tissue as is swollen, and shows in the throat and in the organs of the head, yet the condition is bettered in some ways. Were those suggestions for the inhalations carried out we would find faster improvement, with those conditions as are used for the cleansing of the condition in throat.
-
The condition, while of a serious nature in some respects, has not reached that condition as would be termed, or is termed diphtheria, for we do not find in the lower portion of the throat those strangulations as is ordinarily shown by or through and with the diphtheria germ; that is, that bacilli is not present at present in the body. The inflammation is the inability of the blood stream to create sufficient of the leukocytes to destroy that infection as comes from the conditions in throat, and with those conditions improved in blood by inhalations, as we have given, with the stimulation in system, with the portion kept cleansed with the antiseptics, with the watching after the condition in eliminations in system, we should reduce temperature and prevent any inroads into the system.
-
Do that.
-
The condition is not that of diphtheria. We are through for the present.
