This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 23rd day of March, 1927, in accordance with request made by self, Mr. [137].

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for the further improvement of same, and you will answer any questions I may ask you regarding same.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. This we have had before, [137].

3. Now, we find there are some changes in the physical conditions of the body at the present time from that as we have had here before. Some to the advantage or betterment. Some show more of a centralization of conditions as are and were existent in the body when we last had these here.

4. The congestion as is seen in portions of the body - notably, in the ear and nostril (the tissue there) - is the result of conditions and of poisons loosened in the system through those channels as have been outlined, and the condition in the stomach being improved, the condition localized shows improvement. Still that aggravating condition that comes from tissue in an overtaxed nerve system, and inactive forces within itself cause distresses at times, and under ANY cold, congestion, or undue activity, or worry, the body finds that this condition brings about those fullnesses as are produced by this plethora condition, brought about by the nerve system attempting to eliminate, or to create necessary conditions for the body to become the more normal, until - WITH the natural tendency towards that of the anemic, or the small amount of the supply of vitality as is used up in system - the body becomes in the tendency (not wholly, but TENDENCY) towards the neurotic effects of this condition.

5. Would the body be rid of these conditions, we would take those adjustments necessary for the correcting of the incentives of the upper ganglia of the dorsal and cervical, to over stimulate the blood supply to the head. Keeping the diet in the way and manner as HAS been outlined, and using at least every other day those vibrations as HAS been given the body in that of the Radio-Active Appliance, and apply same at least one hour every other day. One hour each day would be better, but not more than an hour each day - but, if not an hour each day, at least one hour every OTHER day.

6. Those corrections through the secretions being removed in mechanical manner are not in the way of being detrimental, unless an undue activity is attempted by those using such, and with the centralization this made to become a CHRONIC condition.

7. Rather, then, relieve the condition by removing the causes of same, and this will bring about the better conditions for the body - for, with the correction of local conditions, and with the general condition that needs that stimulation necessary that resistance may be builded in the system - as may be acquired through the correct equalization osteopathically, and the vibratory forces found in the appliance - the body will grow to that condition of being able to overcome; for these are seen, and may be seen and applied by the entity through those CHANNELS, DIRECTLY, as have been given. Ready for questions.

8. (Q) How often should the osteopathic treatments be given? (A) Until the condition in the head, and nose, and ears, is relieved. At least every other day, see? It doesn’t hurt to add with this that those secretions in ear and in tonsil are removed mechanically, unless, as given, the instruments are used unduly, see? for the antiseptics are necessary at times, as given.
