This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 W. 35th St., Virginia Beach, Va., this 14th day of November, 1928, in accordance with request made by self and husband, through Mr. [900].

1. EC: We have the body, the enquiring mind, [140]. This we have had before.

2. The dreams, the visions, as come to the body, are through those channels as has been outlined, and more and more we find there is - with the attunement of the mental consciousness with cosmic forces - the closer relation between such mental activities, and the impressions and closeness of that receives nearer and nearer the oneness of living experience.

3. Ready for dream, in which is seen the body is told concerning its own physical condition, as respecting gestation and the inability of the body to function properly in that direction under existent circumstances. While the mental body may build that as would be in keeping with such spiritual direction, in the physical sense bringing that as is desired into literal or physical being: yet the physical body - not attuned sufficient for the material direction of self’s own interest at the present time.

4. With the proper care of the physical body, the consummation of that desired may be made possible in the early spring, and with same come then that as is looked for, desired, and the consummation will bring greater blessings to the body in every sense.

5. In the application then of self toward the physical body for such consummation, there may be received by self - through these same channels - that as will be in keeping with the proper direction of self in the manner as to rid the body of those tendencies produced by the non-coordination of eliminations in the system that has brought such conditions as experienced in the soft tissue of head, ear, throat, and like. These are, as has been outlined for the body, the leavings, drosses, the ash - as it were - of those conditions as existed in the body in times back.

6. Rather, then, attune self in the mental and the spiritual manner, that the forces as may guide, guard and direct, may operate in a manner in keeping with that to bring that desired. Do that.

7. We are through with this reading.

B2. 11/8/28 Husband [137]‘s brother [900] wrote: “[137] and [140] seem concerned about something [140] experienced recently and have asked me to write you for an interpre- tation, which I am now doing … [140] dreamed: ‘Went all through my mastoid operation, through every detail of the trouble with my ear. At the same time it seemed I was pregnant.

“‘Is this any warning concerning whether I should or should not become pregnant? What does this indicate regarding my becoming pregnant?’

“You know, it was a boy last time and the reading [140-16, on 5/18/27], what you might call, rebuked her, for steps she took in respect to this [following 140-15 which said it would be a boy]; so information of like character may be forthcoming again in this rdg. They would like to know if this is a good time, both as regards the entity incoming and as regards [140]‘s physical, for [140] to become pregnant.”
