This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 3rd day of January, 1929, in accordance with request by self via Mr. [900].

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here - [140] - this we have had before. Much might be said respecting the changes in the physical forces of the body since last we had same here. Now, many conditions are bettered. Some at the present time cause anxiety. These are rather, however, the accentuation of those tendencies as are exhibited in the physical forces of the body, and under the stress of cold, congestion, and anxiety, bringing the unsatisfactory reaction to the physical functioning of the body. Necessary, then, for the body to be careful and warned as to allowing this anxiety, or over-doing for the physical body that which would only add to the distress rather than even assisting same; that is, to keep near normal or nominal eliminations in and for the physical forces of the body; to keep the feet warm; to prevent the contraction of more congestion through draft or exposure in any manner; keeping the diet - not too much of those conditions that tend to clog the digestive or the eliminating or excretory system. And the body will of ITSELF respond to the normal, nominal, reaction in the system.

2. Then, only those conditions as would be in an easy, simple diet - not an over amount of sweets or of stimulants, but that which will produce rather a laxative reaction to the whole of the ELIMINATING system, and the application of vibrations either in manipulation - or preferably both the massage (or manipulation) and the actinic or Violet Ray for the body. THESE will bring the nearer normal reactions for THIS system.

3. As to those conditions as have existed, and do exist, in the functioning of the system - as related to contracted conditions existent in nerve supply and muscular reaction in shoulder and arm from the centers in the radial plexus of reflexes in the 2nd and 3rd dorsal, these may be MATERIALLY aided were there kept sufficient of the vibrations as will assist the plexus center radiating from the brachial to the right arm and shoulder stimulated to where more nerve energy and blood supply will assist in bringing normalcy to this portion of the system. This condition may not of itself bring a SPEEDY reaction, save under stress or strain - which is NOT good for the normalcy of body; BUT - bringing these gradually - CONTINUED reaction will bring near normalcy for the reactions in the system. These will be materially aided by that reaction from the Radium Appliance and its activity and its radiation to nerve and blood supply, STIMULATED by the manipulations and the reactions as come from such manipulations for this portion of the system. Do that.
