This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 7th day of June, 1929, in accordance with request made by her brother-in-law, Mr. [900].

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [140]. This we have had before. Now, we find there are those disturbances again in the system relative to the amount of the serums as are being created in the system, or that wherein the body exceeds the normalcy in creating the water, or the division between water and the juices, or active forces in the blood or lymph of the body [lymphosis?]. These cause the distresses to the sensory nerve supply by producing pressure along the centers of the sympathetic nerve system. With the physical experience of the body, fear for the system, as related to conditions as have existed, naturally becomes paramount with the body. Hence we AGAIN have such conditions wherein that the mind, mental forces, gradually build destructive forces with the serums as are created in system. Now, PHYSICALLY, to meet the needs of these conditions:

2. We would, not hypodermically, but taken internally - take very minute quantities of atropine, see? one hundred twentieth of a grain, taken in the system. NOT hypodermically, but that it may act through the lacteal activities of the body; for its active PRINCIPLE is to stop secretions in the system. Taken hypodermically, it would act directly with those of the head, face and nose. Taken INTERNALLY, in the small amounts, will act directly with the GLANDS that PRODUCE the serums or the fluids for system.

3. Then apply those of the massage over the system, at least every day - gentle massage.

4. The atropine should not be taken oftener than just to keep DOWN this activity of the excretions in the system.

5. We would also add those of the ultra Violet Ray over the body, as to create stimulation in nerve and blood supply. Ready for questions.

6. (Q) How often, then, would that be necessary? (A) To meet the needs of the conditions of the body! Once or twice a week, something of that nature. Every other day might not be too often, if given properly and under the care of one looking after the conditions, or doctor. We are through for the present.
