This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 W. 35th St., Va. Beach, Va., this 23rd day of October, 1929, in accordance with request made by self - Mrs. [140].

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mr. and Mrs. John F. Blanchard, Drs. Berger and Hansen, Mr. L. B. Cayce.]

Time of Reading 3:55 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Check Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. This we have had before, [140]. Now, we find many changes in the physical forces of the body at present from that as we have had before. Many are for the betterment of the physical conditions. Some distresses caused by the accentuation of strain, in the upper cervical and upper dorsal regions, and the strain to the sensory system, or ESPECIALLY that of the JUMBLED coordination, as it may be termed, between sympathetic and sensory system. The SENSORY organisms are not wholly of a sympathetic nature, but - as seen - have their direct connection with the cerebro-spinal, as well, and with the variations as have existed in the system - especially through the brachial centers, as have been given, THIS accentuation gives irritation to the upper portion of body, especially through the head and FACIAL nerves and muscle. The retractions from these cause that disturbance at times in the stomach, or a tendency of nausea, or abhorrence for foods - or odors, especially.

  2. The changes then necessary, would be more stimuli through the centers as are BEING changed, in the dorsal and cervical region. At times, rather just the soothing application of massage; at others of the deeper manipulation. The light, also beneficial, but should be applied most DIRECT to the 2nd and 3rd dorsal centers, and to the central portion, or 3rd and 4th cervical, and not too much in OTHER portions of the body. MAKE the light more penetrating by shielding other portions of the system.

  3. Well were glasses used to aid the body, but not worn at ALL periods.

  4. (Q) Is correct treatment being given? (A) At times, but - as is seen from that given - at times the irritation is that which brings the greater distress, by not APPLYING that as meets the needs of the mood or cycle of condition in the body.

  5. That is all the questions regarding this body.

  6. We are through with this reading.
