This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 W. 35th St., Va. Beach, Va., this 3rd day of November, 1925, in accordance with request made through her brother- in-law, Mr. [900].

1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [140] of … New York City, and the dreams this body had on the dates which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from each of these, as I read same to you. [Not waiting for dreams to be read to him, which were as follows: “Night of 11/1 or morning of 11/2/25, at home, dreamed I saw an old man with a V-shaped beard. Night of 11/2 or morning of 11/3/25, at home, dreamed I saw Washington cross the Delaware.”]

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, here. This we have had before.

3. The dreams which come to the entity, when correlated with physical, mental, cosmic and spiritual conditions, with the various phases of each correlating one with the other, may be used by the entity for a more perfect knowledge and understanding of the psychic forces manifested in a spiritual and physical world. Yet when used in error, abused in a manner not comprehending, they may bring those conditions that would be unsatisfactory; yet used in that perfect understanding (which the entity may obtain through study of same) may be beneficial in every respect and manner.

4. For as seen in the dreams as are presented here:

5. This in the first is a correlation of the mental with the cosmic forces. And, as is seen in the vision of the old man with the V-shaped beard, there is that presentation of monies being willed or left to the entity, as same is correlated with others, or in charge of same for others, see?

6. That as presented in a mental condition, by the emblematical form of a condition in history: as that is a fact, with all of its surroundings, meanings, to the entity’s mind, the conditions are now being presented to the entity which, if advantage, would mean as much to the entity as that seen in vision meant to all the peoples represented in that dream. That is, as this Crossing meant to the American peoples, this condition now being presented to the entity, [140], if taken correctly, passed over, gained the possession of, the knowledge of, may mean as much to the entity as that did to the peoples.
