1. EC: Yes, we have the impressions and the conditions and the desires here - as respecting the welfare of this body; as we have had here before.

2. While there are decided improvements, there are still those inclinations for the weaknesses and for the lack of the blood and body-building influence through the system.

3. As we find, now, at least in six to eight more osteopathic treatments, make more specific adjustments from the coccyx center, as well as from the lumbar center as first indicated. Thus we will relieve this tension and bring the better conditions for the body.

4. We find the pressures may be relieved by HOLDING, pressing upward, the nerve end centers around the coccyx end of the spine - on either side. Press on these areas, holding with the other hand, with the body lying prone; the 4th lumbar or the lumbar axis - this will also be found to be beneficial.

5. Also in making these adjustments with the coccyx end of the spine, hold those areas in the DIRECT center to the vagus nerve, see? and just between the dorsals and the cervicals. Thus we will find we will make for a better flow through the lungs and a better purifying.

6. Keep those precautions about the diet and the general activities of the body.

7. When there is the inclination of cold or congestion, the inhalation of properties - or fumes from properties - combined in this manner, will be found to be most beneficial:

8. To 4 ounces of Pure Grain Alcohol, in a 6 or 8 ounce glass corked bottle, add - in the order named:

Oil of Eucalyptus…20 minims, Rectified Oil of Turp…5 minims, Pure Creosote…3 minims, Compound Tincture of Benzoin…15 minims, Tolu in Solution…30 minims.

9. Do not shake these ingredients together until just before taking out the cork to inhale into the throat, as well as through each side of the nostril. Do not breathe these fumes too DEEPLY in the beginning, but gradually. But these inhalations night and morning will purify the throat, cleanse the circulation through the lungs, and - with this change as indicated in the stimulations through the corrections in the cerebrospinal system - improve these conditions.

Note: As a research organization we are endeavoring to make a thorough study of psychic information in relation to human ailments. We will deeply appreciate your cooperation in securing a thorough report on this case.

(1) (a) Did the Reading presented to you describe the condition of the patient? (b) Explain any variation. (c) Give technical diagnosis. (a) Yes, very well. (b) Found some lesions not mentioned. (c) [No response]

(2) Were the suggestions for treatment in your opinion proper for this condition? I think so as I remember.

(3) For what period of time has the patient followed directions given in the Reading under your care? She came as you directed in reading.

(4) What results have you observed? She improved after each course of treatment - haven’t seen her for a good while - can’t remember exactly about her case

• I found the lesions in spine as you diagnosed them - and tried to correct them - I felt that she should have had treatment closer together - Each time she came she was running a light temperature - one or two treatments corrected that - Wish I could answer these more intelligently - She has never paid but very little on work I did for her -

Date of Readings: July 9 & Case No: 1405-1, Dec. 21, 1937 1405-2

(PLEASE ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS CAREFULLY)

(1) In your opinion did the analysis of the Reading cover the condition? It helped.

(2) Give symptoms of condition described correctly? Short of breath, nervous, limbs ache, back hurts.

(3) What was the physician’s analysis of this condition? Crooked spine.

(4) Have the suggestions given in the Reading been followed exactly as outlined? Yes.

(5) For how long? Six weeks.

(6) Describe the extent to which improvements have resulted. All conditions are improved some.

(7) Comment. Dear Mr. Cayce, I am sure your suggestions were all that did any good. [1405] is better than she was. We owe all the credit to you. We sure thank you for what you have done. Her tonsils are real bad, I think they should be removed. I am ashamed for not writing before. The letter got misplaced. It just slipped my mind. If you can tell us more to do, I would be glad to here from you for I know it would help.
