This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 W. 35th St., Va. Beach, Va., this 18th day of January, 1928, in accordance with request made by her uncle, Mr. [900].

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mr. L. B. Cayce.]

Time of Reading 3:30 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. N.Y.C. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. This we have had before. Now, we find there are those accentuated conditions produced within the physical forces of this body from cold, congestion, and the effect this produces on the digestive system, and the inability of the body to coordinate through the forces that produce or act upon the full eliminations through their regular channels. Hence there is produced nausea and temperature.

  2. To meet the needs of the conditions at the present time, some laxative of the saline nature should be applied for the body. This in the form of soda [Upjohn’s Citrocarbonate?] or of that nature.

  3. After this begins to act on the system, follow with small, broken doses of Fletcher’s Castoria and Glyco-Thymoline.

  4. Massage the body along the spine with cocoa butter and Coco-Quinine, that the system may use same through the circulation and be able to bring about proper coordination in the system.

  5. Should the cold and the temperature increase, then add those properties found in Calcidin, not over two (2) grains at a dose - or this may be dissolved in solution and a few drops of this taken at a time, but repeated often.

  6. This should bring about - in two to two and a half days - the full, complete recuperation for this body.

  7. Beware of overloading the stomach, and especially of sweets.

  8. We are through with this reading.
