GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [1467], present in this room, together with his present work, his physical body, his sister [1540], in Williamsburg Sanitarium, with the present conditions and environments surrounding each, the making of the Electric Appliances and his mental and spiritual development. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
-
EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [1467]; together with the physical, the mental body, the associations, relationships, and activities in relationships to influences for others.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) What is the condition of my physical body? (A) In the main conditions physically, as we find them, are very good. To be sure, there are some disturbances or distresses that at times cause anxiety. Or, the body responding to or rebelling against overactivity gives off warnings or indications of distress.
These are conditions as we find them that are disturbing factors in the present:
As for those conditions in scalp that at times cause some anxiety, - at least every ten days massage with any good, plain soap and water. Then shampoo with any good shampoo. That called the Quinine Shampoo, as we find, is better for this body - to prevent falling hair. But if there is the thorough massage with any good soap, that will CLEANSE, this is preferable to most of those solutions or preparations so highly recommended. The shampoo as indicated is the better here. Do this about every ten days, and we should have little or no trouble with falling hair.
Those conditions in the gums and mouth need the occasional use of those properties found in Ipsab. DO massage the gums with an equal combination of Soda and Salt, at least every other day. This will be found to be most helpful. Have some local attention very soon to some of the teeth.
Those conditions through the lungs, throat, larynx, will of themselves keep very good, if there are the general precautions and not overtaxing, not overirritating nor the allowing of the body to become overacid.
The digestive forces as related to the heart’s activity are very good.
The manner of correcting the strain in the pelvis is being gradually aided by the correct proportions for feet and ankles. The present shoe is VERY good. We would keep this same type.
The condition produced in the opposite side of the pelvis is from the general strain that has existed, - this in the area about the caecum or appendicial area. When tired, we would massage these areas very thoroughly with Peanut Oil. [See [1467]‘s report on 1/3/47, 1467-11, Par. R4.]
Occasionally take internally, for this body, an equal combination of Olive Oil AND Peanut Oil, - the same proportions. Don’t take too much at a time, but sufficient to keep the strains in the ileum plexus and the pelvic area from becoming irritated by tiring out, and this causing adhesions.
The adjustments that are given for relaxing the body are very well done. Just don’t hurry through with same so much at times, and relax those main centers - that is, the area from the 1st cervical to the 5th and 6th cervical, through the area of the 3rd and 4th dorsal, and especially relax THOROUGHLY from the 12th dorsal to the lower portion of the sacrals, - not by trying to strain so much, but relaxing the area.
These we would keep, - not too alkaline in the diet, not too acid, but a well balanced diet.
Of mornings have citrus fruits oft, with hot cakes, eggs, bacon or the like, or alter to cereals - both dry and cooked; but do not take these the same day that the citrus fruits are taken.
Noons, - if practical, either soups, green vegetables or the like.
Evenings, - plenty of cooked vegetables, more of the leafy than the pod or tuberous - these are preferable. Fish, fowl and lamb are preferable for meats, but occasionally a good, thick steak - but cook it WELL. Very seldom have hog meat, though liver, the pigs’ feet, the ear, any of those portions that are the digestive foods, that are palatable for the body, are very good - if prepared properly.
Do these and we will keep the physical forces fit.
-
(Q) Are my glasses properly fitted? (A) These are very good.
-
(Q) Do any of my teeth need extracting? (A) As indicated, rather the local attention; not extracted, unless there is the breaking through in such ways that these are unalterable.
-
(Q) Please designate which of my teeth need dental attention? (A) This should be designated rather by the one making such corrections, see?
-
(Q) Are the minerals properly balanced in my body or do I need to take some? (A) As indicated, with the outlines of the diets given we should keep minerals very well balanced.
-
(Q) Would it be well at this time to take my sister [1540] from the State Institution at Williamsburg, Va., or does she need to have more discipline at the institution? (A) If it is practical for the environ that has been indicated that would be well for the body, very well. If this is impractical at this time, do not change then as yet.
-
(Q) I have been advised from this source that I would to have an advancement in position, may I expect it from the … Grocery Co., or from some other company? When will this advancement come? (A) As we find, the body may expect - with the present activities of the body - an advancement soon. This may be in a month, it may be in three months, it may be in six months, - that of advancement with the present company associations.
We WOULD - through the offices of those that have been associated with the body - start those activities for consideration of back or overtime pay. DO NOT let it come as from self, but through associates or old associates who have the same kind of claim with the organization. If this is handled in that manner it may bring relief, or the abilities to do some of the material things desired, and would advance the body’s association with the company.
If it brings crosses between the officials and the body, it might bring disturbing conditions. But handled properly, it will be alright. Be diplomatic, but be very positive.
-
(Q) Would it be advisable for … Grocery Co. to be reminded of it by […], a former employee now employed in the Norfolk Navy Yard, through a lawyer reporting it to the Wage and Hour Board? (A) This will be a very good outlet, provided there is NOT mention of the body [1467].
-
(Q) Is there any advice for me at this time in regard as to making the Electric Appliances? (A) This as we find will be given if there are any changes. Use those instructions that have been indicated for the building of these. And as changes are desired, the body will be warned of same in the advice for the individuals who need same. In the present these are very good.
-
(Q) Should the plates on the Radio-Active Appliance be both nickel until otherwise specified in a specific reading? (A) As indicated, both nickel unless specifically indicated for special conditions otherwise.
-
(Q) Please give me some spiritual advice. I would appreciate an affirmation. (A) Do not at ANY time in thy associations with others do that thy conscience condemns thee for; that is: Let not self, nor self’s purpose, be ahead of thy purpose with thy Lord. For, as ye have heard, as ye do unto the least of thy associates ye do unto thy Lord.
Let thy prayer oft be, though in thine own words:
HERE AM I, LORD, SEEKING TO BE A CHANNEL OF HELP AND BLESSINGS TO OTHERS. USE THOU ME IN THE WAY AND MANNER THOU SEEST FIT. I ACKNOWLEDGE MY WEAKNESSES, BUT I LOOK FOR THE PROMISED STRENGTH IN THEE TO KEEP ME IN THE WAY I SHOULD GO.
- We are through for the present.

Reports & Follow-up
R1. 10/25/41 [1467]‘s letter to HLC:
”…I explained to your father just what I would like for him to put in the letter that he was going to write to Mr. Rice [Claude A. Rice, Interstate Commerce Commission, Washington, D.C.] but I guess he forgot to tell you about it. I told him to tell Mr. Rice that the way I understood it was that in 1938 before the wage and hour law went into effect I was getting
30.00 per week for 52 hours in a week. [[Law of Moses|The law]] read that they were to pay me30.00 per week for a 40 hour week and time and a half for all over 40 hours a week. But they didn’t do this. This is when they gave us that slip of paper which I gave your father a copy of. In other words they cut our salary so much an hour, then figured it out 40 hours so much and 12 hours so much but we still were not getting anymore than $30.00 per week. The law read that they could not cut our salary but they did. I asked in the last two readings and both of them told me that I could collect it. But be sure that I didn’t get my name mixed up in it.“I would appreciate it if you would attend to this as quick as possible as I think they are trying some way to get out of it…”
R2. 11/2/41 [1467] obtained an Aura Chart reading. See 1467-12.
R3. 12/6/41 [1467] obtained 1467-13.
R4. 1/3/47 [1467]‘s verbal report [regarding 1467-11, Par. 4-A]: “I had a scar from an appendix operation, which had healed, but sometimes when bending over, like when I was tying my shoe, I would get a terrific cramp in my side. This would form a knot in my side about the size of my fist, and the only way I could get rid of it would be to massage it. After the reading suggested Peanut Oil, I started massaging with it about two or three times a week. In about a year the condition was completely cured. The cramps have not bothered me since, and this was about six years ago.”
