This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 3rd day of March, 1925, in accordance with request - but the reading was volunteered before an appointment was made.

Time of Reading 12:15 P. M. Dayton Time. …, Ohio.

1. EC: Now we have the body of [147] of …, Ohio. We find the body in the last few weeks subjugated to those destructive forces as found in poor eliminations in system, produced by poisons as are and were brought in system by the taking of foods that were detrimental to the body. First producing sour stomach, then bringing the inability of proper digestion in upper intestinal tract. This absorbed through mesenteric system brought the destructive forces in lymphatic circulation; that is, these toxins into the lymphatic circulation bringing distress to the extremities, or that condition known as neuritic or neuritis in the body, stiffening of joints, contraction of muscles in the intercostal plexuses, and bringing then such mental anguish as to bring again the inability of the body to take sufficient diet to relieve these conditions through the digestive system.

2. Well that the body keep those vibrations from electrical forces and applications [of the Wet Cell Appliance], for these are correct and take more of the chiropractic] adjustments in the cervical and dorsal region, taking internally small quantities of Phosphate of Soda each morning for several days (seven) and add to half a teaspoonful Phosphate of Soda to half a glass of water (preferably warm):

Syrup of Sarsaparilla…6 drops or minims, Eucalyptol…1 drop, Oil of Juniper…1 drop.

3. This be taken until the system is entirely relieved of this clogging in the right side and across the region of the transverse colon.

4. Also would be well, when the pain in arm and side is very severe, to rub the affected parts with saturated solution of Bicarbonate of Soda and apply very warm packs of heated salt.

5. This we find will remove these conditions and bring the body to the normal forces, and assist also in the alleviation of disturbances as have been outlined for the body. Do that.

R1. 3/14/25 She wrote: “I’m quite certain you have confused me with some one else as my trouble was caused from a fall on the ice about ten weeks ago.

On attempting to cross High Street I slipped and fell spraining the tendons, muscles and ligaments of my right leg between the knee and thigh. Had to be taken home in a taxi and was in bed several days and then several weeks before I could walk only hobble a little, and a very little, with a cane. I have discarded the cane now but limp and the leg still stays stiff.

Have had no joint trouble except the past few days my knees have been sore and a little stiff.

What I wrote especially for was a checking on my HEARING. We have had the battery correct now for almost nine months and what I wanted you to tell me was - am I getting any results. I know there is no VISIBLE result but that does not prove there has been no change occurring. It seems to me in that length of time I should be able to detect some improvement.

The Reading doesn’t indicate that the Conductor asked about this at all. It is a most vital question to me. As I said in my other letter I want to keep on indefinitely, if necessary; if I am getting no benefit it seems useless to go on but I am trying to keep the faith and know I am if I can’t see it.

I have delayed writing as I felt uncertain as to what I should do but finally decided to write and explain to you fully.
