This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 21st day of March, 1925, in accordance with request made by self - Mrs. [147].

1. EC: Now, we find the body improved in physical forces from that as we have had here before. While there are still some conditions in the body that are abnormal to other bodies, and conditions that are becoming and are normal to this body, yet these all may be assisted and be helped to be brought nearer to their normal functioning, and to assist in creating an equilibrium necessary to produce a better functioning of the whole system.

2. Now, those are conditions as we find them at the present time in this body, [147], we are speaking of. First:

IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find greatly improved in the system than that we have had at some times back, and while there are not sufficient elements of the rebuilding cellular forces and plasmatic cellular force to rebuild the body in the perfect accord, yet the constant increase as is being made in this, we find the body gradually on the improve, even with the condition as has to do with the sensory organisms, and the effect of conditions as have been produced, and as being produced in this portion of the system. In this, then, of the blood supply, we find below the normal in producing that of the proper elements and constituents in the hemoglobin in the blood, yet the constant building in this portion of the body, the constant holding of that condition whereby the units of the plasmatum (?) [plasmodia?] and plasmastic cellular force produce and bring the better incentives for their proper actions throughout the system.

4. In the blood stream and the supply itself, we find the heart’s action nearer normal and the capillary circulation assisted in being brought to the proper and to the nearer normal functioning. This, as we see, builds the constitutional conditions in the body and adds to the resistance as is created in the system at such times.

5. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, these, while we find have received some setbacks through shocks to the nervous system, and to certain conditions and cell portions of the system, yet the general condition of this is much improved from that as we have had here before. This is especially noticeable, as we find, in the connection and the coordination as is produced between the cerebro-spinal system and that of the sensory organism, and that of the connection as has to do with the constitutional conditions as created in the body through the perfect assimilation as created by this condition.

6. In the specific centers and condition as being produced by the fracture as is being, has been shown in the system in different organs of the body, and in the extremities themselves, these, as we see, bring more of a distribution of the plasmo-cell in creating of resistances in the body, and taking advantage of same through the creation of the distribution of this, by the adjusting of those portions that have been subluxated through portions of the cerebrospinal, especially those as relate to the sensory organism, these we find would bring more assistance to the body, and we need to continue the building of those forces in the body, so that all of the system may respond in the same manner, and especially that through from the 1st dorsal to the 1st cervical.

7. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS OF THE SYSTEM, we find still the condition as has been described in that of the sensory organism, especially that as relates to that area of the auditory forces, or the vibrations as created by sound in the body itself. The tympanum shows the difference, as does the cochlea and Corti, and in other portions of the system these connections as referred to have responded. And the vibrations created in the system [by the Wet Cell Appliance] show how these are responding to the condition, and how there is being created that which reproduces the coordination in the system. And we will find in these, in the vibrations, a reconsecration and concentration of the condition as produced in this portion. We will gradually build that in the system which in the body will respond more readily to the suggestions as are taken when the vibrations are created, by the adjustments of ligament and of the muscular forces in the body, especially of the sensory system and to the relief of the congestion as is produced by the sedimentary condition as remained in the system by lack of assimilation of used forces in portions of the body.

8. Then help those vibrations [of the Wet Cell Appliance] as are created by that as has been given to the body. Yet when these are attached to the system, make closer connection at the 1st cervical, and in a form that will hold the pressure more secure to that portion of the body. Also that as is applied in the vibration or chiropractic] adjustment above and to the right, this should be kept more in conjunction with the system, that we may have the perfect accord and the perfect vibrations created to these portions of the body. Take more the suggestion as is given with the adjustments as are made from time to time. And while these may not of necessity be given as often as we have had at some times, these should be kept so that the system will be in that position to produce the assimilation and the concentration of the eliminating forces as is necessary for that to produce the equilibrium in the system.

9. Do that. Continue persistent, consistence in food, diet, in the physical functioning of the system, in the exercise as for all portions of the body, and we will bring the better condition to this body, [147].

10. (Q) Is the body getting any results from the use of the battery? (A) We have given, it is, and should keep those as given, yet keep in more perfect accord, so they may receive the better conditions from the battery vibrations.

11. (Q) Is the battery properly charged at the present time? (A) Properly charged at the present time. Not properly adjusted to the system at all times when taking the vibrations from same.

12. (Q) Does the leg of the body [from the sprain some weeks ago] need any treatment except the massaging? (A) The massaging only.

R1. 3/27/25 She wrote: “The Reading received Tuesday morning for which I thank you so much. You certainly went into the details.

“It was such a wonderful Reading it had to go the rounds - to Dr. Farrand, the [287]‘s and Miss [4383]. That is why I haven’t written sooner. Was waiting to get it so I could fill in the blank but will do that later.

“As you can see I haven’t had it enough to give it proper study, but know I am getting results and that is the main feature. I certainly feel encouraged to go on - and shall

• To my personal sense I feel my hearing has been growing steadily worse, but I now know the change is taking place for the better even though it is not yet apparent to me. I KNOW IT WILL COME IN TIME. I have such confidence in you I think if you were to tell me black was white I’d think it was.

“Am looking after the application of the plates more carefully too. I had attached the one with tape but upon investigation found it was, as you said, not closely applied. The tape let it stand out from the body. It looked as if it were firm but on examination I found it was not tight at all. So that will also be remedied.

“As everything now seems to be properly adjusted I feel sure that on my next reporting I shall have more encouraging news.

“Again and again thanking you and wishing for you all the best of life, I am”

R2. 6/13/25 She wrote: “It has been a long time since you heard from me. I have used the batteries faithfully until three weeks ago when I had to quit work and go home.

“It is now more than a year since we have had it made correctly and my hearing has grown steadily worse. Do you think I should take it up again? I shall do whatever you say.

“I had my glasses changed five weeks ago and I have not been able to use my eyes scarcely any since. When I look at the print it blurs. The occulist said it was my eyes and I would have to give them a rest of a week or ten days and I have never even read the headlines in the papers since but they are no better. I think it is the glasses instead of my eyes as I can see without them - of course not near as no one my age could - but every thing is so much clearer at a distance without them than it is with them.

“Would it be asking too much to ask you to give me a reading after some other patient to know about my hearing and to know if the glasses I have are correct and what I should do? I am staying here at so much expense and am afraid to use my eyes for fear I’ll injure them. If it is the glasses causing the trouble then I want it corrected.”
