This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 23rd day of March, 1938, in accordance with request made by the son-in-law, Mr. [1561], new Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc., recommended by Dr. Henry Hardwicke.

Time of Reading 11:15 to 11:30 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, N.J. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes.

2. Now as we find, while there is great disturbance throughout the physical forces, there may be added those influences of a mechanical nature that would assist in supplying that better coordination between the physical, the mental and the spiritual forces; as to bring into material manifestations the betterments in the physical reactions in the body.

3. While the vitality and the resistance are low, owing to the lack of the blood supply being freed from the poisons that cause pressures upon the nerve and muscular forces in the inclination of an arthritic reaction, these may be materially aided.

4. We find that there is the lack of the ionization of the nerve forces, owing to the great strain that has been put upon the whole of the nervous system, as well as the manner of the circulatory system. Yet these may be materially aided in creating a better coordination between the superficial and deeper circulation, and a better reaction or activity through the assimilating forces of the body.

5. As we find then, in making administrations in the present:

We would use the vibratory forces of the low electrical nature as from the B Battery, but carrying into the system the vibrations from the Chloride of Gold Solution - in the proportion of two grains to each ounce of distilled water. Use whatever quantity is necessary for the size container desired, you see; and change this Solution every fifteen days. Do not let the lead lead remain in Solution when not in use. The attachments would be made in this manner: The negative pole or plate would be to the 9th dorsal, while the nickel - and through which the Gold Solution is carried - would be to the umbilicus and lacteal duct plexus. Make these attachments for not more than twenty minutes each day.

7. Following such a treatment we would massage the limbs and the spine with an equal combination of Olive Oil, Tincture of Myrrh and Compound Tincture of Benzoin. Heat the Oil to add the Myrrh and the Benzoin. Massage just what the body will absorb.

8. After these have been done for three to four weeks, we would give further instructions.

9. In the matter of the diet, keep those things that are easily assimilated. Not too much of starches, but body-building forces - as the milks with the calciums (hence the Dry), the addition of the proteins in the forms easily assimilated.

10. These as we find, with the mental and spiritual attitudes of constructive forces about the body, may bring the greater relief.

It seems that destiny has staid our plans to use the remedies proscribed [prescribed?] for Mother [1553]! (Via the instrumentally of men who bow to our Jim Failey!) So - as a Doctor Stearns [Guy Beckley Stearns, M.D.] (high potency homeopath) has given powders once a week with encouraging results (except that the “mind” remains not clear - certain brain cells?). (The illness is commonly called “stroke” - & hardening of arteries, plus chronic constipation - with all the poisonous results.) Might it be well to have another reading - this we urge if you have time -

I do not know how to ask pertinent questions, but could her brain cells function, either “renewed in life” or compensatory cells take on the work, then, her will to say would GREATLY aid the reconstruction. Now she has little control over her emotions - yet at times her mind seems clear and then it is her thought return to - “service” - to others

• as has been her life experience this time - So - maybe the proper questions might be asked from his brief description of the mental and emotional.

That there has been delay in application of the remedy suggested through the reading, is, apparently, through no lack of faith and desire, or neglect on or part - thus, as seeming great improvement shows, we feel that greater hands have had the helm and that NOW we should call again for such directions as may be prescribed - whether they repeat those already given or they be now altered to some extent - this our plea for another reading at THIS time -

Our very dear Mr. Cayce:

In haste - another question regarding the physical condition or nervous [?] of [1553]? Is the throat condition (HARSH and continuous clearing of throat - and seeming fear complex as to ability to swallow?) a nerve condition or something else?

What is its remedy.
