This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 2nd day of February, 1939, in accordance with request made by the son-in-law, Mr. [1561], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions which have been submitted by Dr. Wm. D. Taylor, as I ask them:

2. EC: Ready for questions.

3. (Q) Would the use of the “Nervosad” [Nervosan?] or bipolar electronics machine be beneficial in this case? (A) If there is sufficient of the electrical forces given as we have indicated, to allay those tendencies for possession at times, we find that the etheronics and electronics will be beneficial.

If not, then these would prove rather irritating.

This can best be determined, as we find in the present, by a pressure in unison (or one with one hand and one with the other) upon the areas about the 4th lumbar axis and the 3rd dorsal plexus. If with gentle pressure there is the inclination for an excitement, or irritation, then there would NOT be the better effects through the etheronics. But IF there is the inclination for this pressure to quiet, and to cause the tendency for better relaxation, then the etheronics would be well.

4. (Q) Radionic examination shows kidney infection and a certain amount of anemia. Would it be advisable to use a radionic treatment wave for this condition? (A) This again, as we have indicated here, would depend upon whether or not there is sufficient elimination of those tendencies for the possessive forces in the periods of incoordination. If not, such would NOT be efficient or effective.

If there is the quieting by the effect of the electricity, static in form, from the applications as have been indicated and outlined, and there is the neutralizing set through the etheronics, this would be very well.

5. (Q) Forstia, my teacher who comes in on my Radionic instrument on wave length 3.131 says this case can be greatly improved by Radionics. Do you advise this in conjunction with your other specified treatment? (A) Such, as indicated, would be all in keeping with that as we have just outlined. Make these tests, and then be guided by same.

R1. 2/8/39 Dr. W. D. Taylor’s letter to EC:

“Thank you. It certainly is a real pleasure to have letters answered promptly and well.

“Your letter indicates that the electrical device for distribution of the gold solution should be continued in conjunction with the ‘Nervosan’ [Nervosad?] if the tests you suggest are in accord, however, I am not quite clear on this point.

“Can the ‘Nervosan’ be used in place of the gold solution at this time? The reason for this question is the electrical device used for this medium of distribution is making sores on Mrs. [1553] that might turn into bed sores or ulcers in her condition. Will you give me a definite answer for this question?

“The ‘Nervosan’ is a bipolar electronics that runs on 1/2 of a milliamp of electricity which is so slight an amperage that the patient does not feel the voltage.

“In some previous cases this has brought excellent results and at the moment I am very hopeful for Mrs. [1553]‘s improvement.

“On the Radionics quantimeter it is possible to give Mrs. [1553] the healing rates of white light which are comparable to gold, silver, or any element desired. If this would be useful I will be only too glad to use it.

“Thank you again for the helpful reading which I will follow exactly and I sincerely hope you and your fine work can touch many people who are in dire need of it.”

R2. 2/11/39 EC’s letter to Dr. Taylor:

“Have yours of the 8th. Thank you. Since the reaction is such as you state there is no doubt that you have the right idea as to the administering of the Gold vibrations as well as the etheronic energy, so would proceed along those lines.

“Thank you for your interest, and sincerely hope a great good may come to this poor soul from the administration of the treatments as you give them.

“Hoping you will let us hear as conditions develop and assuring you of our desire to help,”

R3. 3/10/39 Dr. Taylor’s letter to EC:

“Mr. [1561] informs me he is writing to you today regarding a check reading for Mrs. [1561], and I thought this might be an excellent opportunity to ask a few questions regarding the case.

“Mrs. [1553] appears to have much intestinal stasis and becomes very toxic and languid when the function falls below her normal, what do you recommend as our best solution of this problem?

“Are colonic irrigations indicated here? If so how often should they be given? How do you find Mrs. [1553]‘s mind in relation to the body?

“This has been a very interesting case and I feel we are making progress with it, but slowly, at present.

“Wishing you great success and joy in the work, I remain,”

R4. 3/10/39 [1561]‘s letter to EC re [1553]:

“Herewith 9 questions re [1553]. Dr. Taylor said he would send his questions direct. Upon receipt of word, […] & I will strive to be ‘in accord’.

“Seemed a slow improvement, physically, possibly a SLIGHT improvement mentally until last few days. We can but ‘hope’ with faith.

“Won’t go into my own ‘feelings’ pertaining hereto but will chat re same some day!

“Love to you all,” [1561]

3. Is the daily enema advisable?
4. Has she had too many laxative pills?
5. Should gold solution be resumed in some form?

8. Are we carrying out all of the instructions correctly?
9. Is it probable that complete mental clarity may be restored?
