This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 28th day of March, 1938, in accordance with request made by her son - Mr. [1536], through Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc., - emergency request; formal application to come later.

Brigham Hall Time of Reading Hospital, 4:05 to 4:10 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Canandaigua, N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes - this is serious, as we find.

2. But those hospitalizations, and the applications that are being made in the present are those as we find most necessary.

3. Add to those sufficient oxygen, and if it becomes necessary use infusion or transfusion for the stimulation to prevent the cellular forces becoming too much destroyed in the body.

4. These, though, will be followed according to those activities already set in motion.

5. We are through for the present.

Mr. Edgar Cayce Virginia Beach, Va.

Dear Mr. Cayce-

Your reading for my Mother [1558] was received here this morning. I regret that I did not know the time you were written, because what is desired more than an emergency reading is a complete physical & mental reading as necessary. An immediate reading was requested so that we could receive instructions and information from you as soon as possible.

I would therefore appreciate your giving my Mother a complete reading as soon as possible. There have been several physical and a mental condition which have caused a great deal of trouble - yet with treatment she is receiving, she seems to be a bit worse than she was five months ago. I showed a copy of your reading to Dr. Farrand [Jacob H. Farrand, D.C.] and he suggested that because of the condition, the reading just received would be of very little help and that you would therefore be happy to give my Mother a complete reading.

Please send copies to my brother […], …, N.Y. - and one to me at the above address. No communications should be sent to my Mother. And I will be grateful to you for giving the reading at your earliest possible opportunity so that relief may be felt as soon as possible.
