Time of Reading 10:55 to 11:10 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, N.Y.
-
GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for help and relief of this body; answering the questions that may be submitted, as I ask them:
-
EC: Yes.
-
Now as we find, there are general conditions that disturb the better physical functioning of the body. These have been kept rather in abeyance from time to time, and then there are specific disturbances that more recently have been and are the outcome of a prolapsus in the descending colon; thus forming disturbances through the sphincter muscular area where hemorrhoids have been the result - with considerable bleeding at time of stools, and other unpleasantnesses that arise from same.
-
These are the conditions as we find them with this body, Mr. [1665]:
-
In the blood supply we find indicated conditions wherein the metabolism of the system has been involved, thus causing at times a fullness, as well as an activity with the heart’s forces not altogether good.
-
But as indicated, these have been kept rather in abeyance - by the activities and precautions of the body.
-
However, the general conditions also from a fullness in the colon and a prolapsus specific in the descending colon have recently, through taxations and activities of the body, brought on the acute conditions.
-
Now as we find, there may be added - or may be done - those things and activities which will not only remove a great deal of these disturbances but correct the causes of these unbalanced forces in the system itself.
-
First, it must be the matter of the diet - a refraining from foods of any nature that are fried, or from any intoxicating or too great quantities of alcohol-producing forces. Especially no beer or hops, that in which fermentation produces a greater strain upon the colon area of the system. This as general.
-
Then, more specific.
-
Occasionally we would have the full, thorough HYDROTHERAPY applications, including the massage with same; and included with these massages would be specific adjustments made through the areas of the upper dorsal and cervical, and SPECIFIC in the lumbar and last dorsal axis. These as a part of the treatments will make for a general condition to improve the system.
-
As we find, the use of TIM as an ointment, following the stools and of evenings when retiring, will make for - soon - a removal of the causes of the hemorrhoid reaction. If this is injected as far as possible, this will make for sufficient activity of the sphincter contractions as to carry same ABOVE those portions where the folds are causing irritation.
-
Then as we find, these as activities will make for better conditions for this body, Mr. [1665].
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) What doctor is recommended to assist in the treatment? (A) Those as we find as would be associated or connected with The Reilly Institute.
-
(Q) Are there any complications to be warned of? (A) Only as has been indicated.
-
(Q) How long will it take to complete the cure? (A) One of the general nature must be kept up for at least six months or a year, while the more specific should in a few days - and if kept up occasionally - should in a few weeks remove causes.
-
(Q) What caused the prolapsus in the colon? (A) Overstimulation, as we have indicated, to the diet forces of the body itself.
Keep away from highly seasoned foods, as well as the conditions indicated.
- We are through for the present.
