This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 19th day of February, 1929, in accordance with request made by self, Mrs. [172], via Miss [778].

[Edgar Cayce; Mrs. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]

Time of Reading 7:15 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [172]. Now we find this body has many specific conditions to disturb it. These, however, are produced mainly from one existent condition and the results as are produced in the system from same. In times back, when the body was fifteen, the body had an accident wherein there was an injury to the coccyx - the end of the spine, or close to the end. This has thickened until there has been produced a variation in the effect as produced in the nerve system, through the lower digestive organs. This same period brought about, with this retraction, that condition wherein the stomach proper is tilted rather to the end, so that foods do not act properly with the system, or such a nature that scarcely does the body DESIRE food, for the fermentation that takes place has been of such a nature as to cause the body to be innately desirous of shielding self from its misery as is produced by such.

  2. The other conditions as have come about are more or less varying, according to the conditions that arise at the time that the troubles are caused, and from these.

  3. These, then, are the conditions to be met. Now these may be brought nearer to the normal condition. This would require NOT an operation, but it will require the usage of those conditions wherein the body would be consistently and persistently looked after in a manner as would be in keeping with changes from time to time. Then better send the body to Virginia Beach for the hospital Cayce Hospital].

  4. Do that. We are through for the present.
