This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 22nd day of July, 1942, in accordance with request made by the self - Mr. [1861], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mr. [1861] and Mrs. [2072].]

Time of Reading 11:10 to 11:20 A. M. Eastern War Time. …, Va.

  1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with further suggestions for corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

  2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1861]; this we have had before.

  3. As we find, in the general physical forces conditions have continued to be on the improve.

  4. As for the more specific, as to the vision, - this we find GRADUALLY changes, though as to the vision itself - while improved and stronger - there is not a great deal of greater ratio than when last we had same. But there is the indication that the improvement will continue if there is the keeping of the general physical condition on the improve.

  5. And especially now, for the next six to eight weeks, if there is the keeping of that mental and spiritual attitude, those abilities to turn within, and to bring the Creative Forces’ active with the mental forces of the body, we should find this continuing to be on the improve.

  6. Then there may be the mechanical applications of more specific natures as to the more helpful in the attaining and gaining of better conditions there.

  7. Now we would only keep, then, the general massage that is done, or should be done, at least two to three times a week, with this combination of oils - especially through the heat, and early fall:

  8. To 4 ounces of Peanut Oil, add - in this order and in these proportions:

Olive Oil…1 ounce, Cedar Wood Oil…1/2 ounce, Rose Water…1/2 ounce, Oil of Sassafras…1/4 ounce,

  1. These will tend to separate, but when given - at least three times a week - shake together thoroughly, pour a small quantity in an open saucer, dipping fingers in same and massage around the neck, and head, especially in the temples and down either side of the throat, and the upper portion of the cervical and dorsal areas.

  2. Do that.

  3. We would leave off the Violet Ray for the time being, though these vibrations may be applied later.

  4. Also we would leave off the Vibrator, and use the massage instead, you see.

  5. The corrections we would leave off, for at least ten weeks.

  6. Keep the general attitude as indicated.

  7. Ready for questions.

  8. (Q) Should Adiron be continued? (A) Leave off Adiron for the next ten weeks, at least.

  9. (Q) Any specific directions for Dr. Richardson? (A) We would leave off these treatments for ten weeks.

  10. (Q) Henrico County Clerk says he has no record of Barney A. Seay. Can you clarify this matter? [See 1861-12, Par. 20-A, 21-A.] (A) We find that they may be found among the records of the births there.

  11. (Q) In what book and page may the records be found? (A) In the births - five fifty-seven (557). [10/3/42 See 1861-14, Par. 11-A.]

  12. (Q) Would it be advisable to prepare our well at …, Va., for drinking purposes? (A) Be very WELL; for this deepened or cleared somewhat is of a type of water that is preferable to the regular water there. For this while good freestone water is more alive, and not taken with the purifiers so much.

  13. (Q) Where is the source, and what steps should be taken? (A) Deepened somewhat, and cleaned out. The source is that far, far away from where the opening to the water is.

  14. (Q) Any other advice at this time? (A) We would keep close to those suggestions that have been indicated here, as to the mental and spiritual attitude, especially through the periods of this massage; and there should be the greater awakening to the abilities of the body, in its attunement to the Infinite.

  15. We are through with this Reading.
