GC: You will have before you certain grain investments of [195], of … Mfg. Co., …, Ohio. You will answer the questions concerning same, as I ask them.

EC: Yes, we have those investments and business relations of [195]. These we have had before. As to the investments in grain futures, especially in that of wheat and rye (May wheat and rye), there is seen that there have been some changes in the conditions from that as has been given. For, as is seen by that information regarding same as has been given this entity, the change in the reports from various sections of the country and in markets abroad those that those who control - or who in a manner control various pools concerning grain market and grain values - are making the speculative prices. Now we find that the INTENT is that by March 29th there will be an ADVANCE in the price of both wheat and rye, to at least 173, and THEN the slump to 153. And again near the harvest, in the South Central States, or the Oklahoma crops, there will THEN be an advance, about the 15th to 20th of May, of July and September wheat, and rye will follow near in these same manners, going at a different price in the intervening period between the 15th of April and the 10th of May, see? So, these speculations should be run in that manner with these.

Then, in the present contract, we would cover until this reaction starts through the various channels, for all market quotations are showing some reaction today, see? Then we will find, in or about the 28th or 29th the high point, and then we would sell for the July contracts, see?
