1. GC: Now you will have before you [195], of … St. …, Ohio, and his investments in grain. Also the information that has been given concerning the movements and price of grain. It will be seen that the price is off ten to twelve cents from that given in the last rdg. Will you tell us at what price it will open on Monday, March 29, when it has been given that an advance would come? Please tell us how much advance this will be, how high it will go, and answer any other questions I may ask concerning these.

2. EC: As seen, this condition as regarding grain, and the information as has been given concerning same - the conditions of the general market; the general pessimistic view as has been seen in the industrial and commercial enterprises has had its effect, and the reflection is seen in the price of grain. This, as we see, is not over all the country, or in any portion of the country, and from the reports that will be seen to come concerning the price, the condition, the outlook in the various portions of the country, we will find that on Monday’s opening the price will be from one to five-eighths higher than the close. It will advance during the latter portion of the day’s tradings three to four points, falling off in the early trading of next day two points, and gaining during the week until the 3rd to 4th of April, gaining nearly seven points during that period. In the next week’s operations we will find a loss of four to five, while in the next after that a gain of seven to ten points, during the week.

3. Then, the operations by the entity should be in keeping with the conditions as they arise.

If market gets up at end of week I will get out, for I don’t want to suffer any more loss… The stock market is acting down and it looks as if it will be weak for some little time with occasional rallies. However, I got out at the bottom, as I always do. It is up again today. Sometime we will understand it all better than we do at this date, and there is no use crying over large losses… Thanks awfully for trying on the grain rdgs., am sorry they didn’t turn out as read.”
