This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 W. 35th St., Va. Beach, Va., this 2nd day of September, 1926, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [195].

Time of Reading 7:50 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Ohio.

1. GC: You will give the physical conditions of this body at the present time, with suggestions for the further improve- ment of same and you will answer the questions regarding same that I ask you.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. This we have had before.

3. The physical conditions in this body show greater improve- ment from MANY ways than we have had here before. The body is physically fit in many ways.

4. The conditions as have to do with auditory forces, with the removing of those lesions in the cervical area and along the Eustachian Tube [osteopathically], we find that there as been brought back much of the retraction through the re-vibration in this portion of the body. As is seen, these conditions lying dormant so long, it is necessary that these be kept stimulated occasionally [osteopathically], that there may be brought the better forces.

5. Also we would keep those vibrations of the Radio-Active forces in the system, for these create, as we see, the equalization to all portions of the system. And, as has been given, this Appliance would be good not only for this body but for everyone, to apply these vibrations to the system, see?

7. (Q) Are the treatments osteopathically being given deep enough? (A) Being given deep enough at present.

8. (Q) How often should they be given now? (A) At least once each week.

9. (Q) Has lesion in 2nd dorsal disappeared? (A) Not entirely. There is still the effect, rather than the lesion itself, though ofttimes much tautness is seen in the conditions about this center.

10. (Q) What is the condition of the hair and scalp? Is the treatment [recommended for baldness] doing work as given? (A) This has not been kept as thoroughly as it might have been, else we would find better results in this. While the condition is gradually on the improve, with the scalp itself, with this change the hair will begin to show. [See 195-11, Par. 6-A—7-A on 3/26/25 advising white vaseline and crude oil massage in scalp.]

11. (Q) How often should the treatment be given? (A) At least once each two weeks.

12. (Q) Should any other treatment be given for the benefit of the hair and scalp? (A) This as given will being about that as necessary to bring the healthy condition to the scalp. It will prevent the loss, and bring back much of that which has been lost. Well that the head be kept bare, in sunshine, as much as possible. This will assist, of course, in nature’s activity in rebuilding in the system.

13. (Q) Should any other treatments be given for the benefit of the ears? (A) The general treatment [osteopathically] and the vibratory force [Radio-Active Appliance] are that as necessary, unless these should become clogged again along the eustachian tube. This can be told by the body through the activity of the auditory forces, see?

14. That is all the questions.

R5. 1/15/27 He wrote: “Have been feeling poorly for ten days, but Dr. L. A. Lydic (the osteopath) is keeping me going.”

B2. 6/12/26 He wrote: “Dr. L. A. Lydic (D.O.) put me on a buttermilk diet - lO-12 days ago and I am just getting off of it. Lost about ten lbs., and still feel weak, as I had no solid foods for seven days, merely buttermilk. Doc. thinks I am getting too fat, or something. However, he is away now and I am going out and eat a big fat meal tonight. So hope to feel first rate from now on.”

B3. 7/18/26 He wrote: “Have not quite returned to my usual health but am feeling better and hope that by the time August rolls around [when I plan to visit you] I’ll be feeling fit.”
