Accessories) This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 17th day of January, 1927, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [195].

1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [195], of … St., …, Ohio, and the business investments of this body. You will answer the questions concerning same as I ask them.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [195]. It would be well for the body to use that inhalant as has been outlined for others for the condition which exists with the physical forces of the body at the present time. This will assist the body in overcoming these conditions, clarifying the throat, removing the trouble, and assisting the body in gaining its normal equilibrium, with the other treatments being made for the body. See? [Inhalant 538-18?]

4. (Q) Relative to investment in May Oats, has any change taken place whereby high will not be around Jan. 25th? If change has taken place, when will high quotation be, and what price? (A) As seen by the conditions which have become existent, while the price in same has advanced to some extent, the continual falling off of same has gone even below that as has been given would be as the low point, but we will see a constant, gradual rising of same until it reaches near the 63 to 64, see? around 25th to the 3rd, see? We will have the rebound to this - an advance.

5. (Q) Concerning 20 shares Cincinnati Suburban Common, would it be advantageous to withhold this stock from the pool now being formed to take up at $27.50 per share, or hold for higher price? How high a price? (A) Best price will be gained through the pool.

6. (Q) How high a price? (A) $27.50.

7. (Q) Relative to interest in the settlement of the Gray estate suit in Evansville, Ind., is the compromise offer going to be made? When? When will settlement be forthcoming to heirs? (A) Compromise offer going to be made, and best to accept, for outside of same there will be little that will be as a return for same. Compromise offer will be made. Needn’t to accept the first, but some actions between the two may be taken before the next is offered. Then accept that, for that would be the best, see? That will be before the next court convenes there.

8. (Q) When will this be? (A) Not until after the 31st of May.

9. (Q) Will [[182] [195]] Mfg. Co. be successful in a large way in putting Brakenu (Brake Renew) on the market? The Lantenschlager preparation for automobile brake linings and for factory belts? Or would it be a better policy for us to stay out of this? (A) There will be a great many complications, if the [[182] [195]] Mfg. Co. would undertake to make or

R1. 1/19/27 EC wrote: “This inhalant [538-18] given for your bronchials and cold is a concoction that has been put together several times from the readings [for various people], and wherever it has been tried it has certainly proven a wonderful preventive for coughs and colds, and where cold is already taken, or even where signs of tuberculosis are showing this has proven a wonderful thing.”

R2. 1/21/27 Mr. [195] wrote: “The rdg. just came. Thanks. It is very interesting. There recently has been some bronchial trouble, and trouble with my breathing, and it was with surprise that I saw the recommendation as given in your rdg. I immediately left the prescription to be filled [538-18] and will start on it tonight. Hope it improves the health.

“As for the lesions in neck, they are stubborn - on account of length of time in which they were left uncorrected, but the masseur is working hard on them and I can note a little improvement in the way the neck will bend. Hope to have neck in good shape and practically back to normal within six months. Then I can see how the ears may be helped further [in re partial deafness].

“As far as balance of reading is concerned, Oats were interesting. Hope they act in accordance with the prediction.

“Was also interested in the Gray matter and glad to note that the estate was to be settled within a few months.

“As far as the Brakenu product is concerned, I guess we won’t need additional information, as the answer started out in rdg. saying that the [182(195)] Mfg. Co. would encounter difficulties in this, and as far as I am concerned that is about enough information.

I think the Bottle Co. is going to come out all right in the end. We have had to put in more money than we anticipated, and hope it will carry itself from now on. We have started to ship bottles and in the next few months, as it is the slack season, we will not be rushed to death as we would like to be, but if we can pass over next few months we may get the ‘pile of money.’” [See 195-33, Par. 6-A saying he would make money from bottles.]

R3. 1/28/27 He wrote: “Relative to Oats, it is - much to my sorrow and loss - sinking, but I am thoroughly convinced that due to the scarcity of the commodity that it will advance. If you see that it has not gone up by the 3rd to 4th of Feb., I wonder if you can secure some more information for me, and if important wire me collect…

“I made up the solution [538-18] and am inhaling night and morning.”
