MHB: You will have before you the body of [195], present in this room, and the drawing that he holds of the contemplated changes of parts in the [4666] Motor. You will answer the questions in a clear normal rate of speech that I will ask you regarding this.
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here - this we have had before, also the drawings as entity holds and the changes as would be made.
-
In the physical forces of the body there needs be corrections, even as corrections for operation for the motor. The motive forces of the body are the liver and the kidneys, and the functioning of other organs as according with these. The body at the present finds there needs to be correction regarding the motive force of body through the activity of liver. We would empty the gall bladder, and also we would relax those centers as stimulate the lower hepatic circulation; else we may find FEVERS resulting to the body from conditions becoming stored in same.
-
As to drawings for corrections, these - as we find - are in keeping with changes as are given or received by the mental body of [195] respecting the activity of the force so generated by the drum and is for better radiation from the force as is created in activity. In the circle, as indicated, comes power. In the changes as indicated here where the ends are made in the form where these are not circular, nor are they elliptical, were these made nearer - not wholly, but nearer in that form as would be described by eight, these would come NEARER creating the levity, power, as is gained through this activity.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Would the drawing in figure one be the best? (A) Best in this portion. This we give here. Best for the change in the activity of that force as is operative from leads. Sprangles are necessary in the angles too, see?
-
(Q) That is, a perfect eight - or just one circle in the whole numeral? (A) The whole numeral NEARER, see? for the activity as gained by the cams in this gives the nearer active forces through this circle.
-
(Q) Should there be, then, two circles something like on number three? (A) They are NOT circles, but NEARER the figure eight, as would be in place of that as seen where made - not elliptical, not rectangular, nor rectangular with ENDS, but where the circle would make the change in center -
-
(Q) As the figure is now drawn, is that - (A) Nearer.
-
(Q) Would the top part of circle be smaller than lower part? (A) Be equal.
-
(Q) Should a part of each corner of lead be taken out and cover of cam (drum) be placed an inch from the inside, allowing the leads on the short stroke to hug cam more closely? Would this tend to make a more efficient motor? (A) This in this form will tend to make a more efficient motor, for this produces in its operation this activity, though this needs be changed so that each one in its circle, or in its operation around, see? hugs the cam more, see?
-
(Q) Are there any other changes that should be made to cause the motor to function? (A) These should function, as these changes are made. We will find it only necessary for the experimentation of the variation in the lead and in the cam sets.
-
(Q) With these changes, about when may [195] expect success in the working of the machine? (A) As soon as changes are made and as soon as there is sufficient of the experimentation to get the perfect balance that is created; for, as has been given respecting the various applications of conditions as respecting light or sound, force, power, or these radiations of this - these in forming the eight makes again the octave end, as given, see?
-
(Q) Would the ball bearings follow the figure eight? (A) Follow the figure eight.
-
(Q) What would be best for [195] to do to empty the gall bladder? (A) Do not irritate by taking medicines, until this has been emptied osteopathically. Then mild salines will take it out of the system; better reducing the condition in the descending colon.
-
(Q) Is the exercise taken on the Vita machine good? (A) Very good in many respects. THIS condition, though, needs direct attention. That would be for general conditions.
-
(Q) How many osteopathic treatments should be taken first? (A) At least three. Until its well emptied.
-
(Q) Would Milk of Magnesia then be a good saline? or should something stronger be given? (A) Milk of Magnesia good saline.
-
We are through for the present.
Reports
Reports & Follow-up
R1. 8/5/28 GD’s note: He told us that he would have the osteopathic draining of the gall bladder done by Dr. Lyman A. Lydic.
R2. 8/8/28 He requested 4665-9 on the [4666] motor.
R3. 8/10/28 He wrote: ”…Am feeling somewhat better now and am going to keep up exercising, as I want to keep fit, at least until the Cayce Hospital is finished. I might be one of your first patients. Dr. Lydic is again in the hospital - having some kind of stones in kidney. I am going to suggest a reading on how best to be cured…”
R4. 8/15/28 He obtained Business reading 195-53.
R5. 8/23/28 He obtained 4665-10.
